Claw saw the others being let out and roared in frustration, then rammed his head into the bars. sighing, he rattled the bars and smacked them with his tail before laying down on the ground to rest. it seemed like he was crying.

A pair of short doors on the wall opened, and a side of beef came out, then the doors closed.
A voice came from the speaker set into the wall of his cage, and said, "We can't let you out, and you know why."

Fala

She made a tiny squeak when the IV was in her foreleg. I can never be calm when that happens. When will this end? Anything but that dreaded thing! she said to herself.

"Done!" the vet said, withdrawing the needle, "You were such a good girl! Want a treat?"
The vet held up a plate of vanilla ice cream.

(I know it isn't normal to feed wolves ice cream, but Fala isn't a normal wolf)

Claw roared in anger, stabbed the meat with a claw, and chomped half of it. then he watched through the bars, watching the animals that were let out.

Fala

She ignored the pain entirely, wanting the ice cream.She barked for it, twirling around on two legs and waiting.

"Easy there, big boy, we don't want to have to alert security. Again," the voice from the speaker said, a cruel edge sliding into the voice.

"Here you go, girl," the vet said, setting the plate on the exam table.

Claw watched the speaker, rose onto his hind legs, grabbed the speaker, and ripped it out, then crushing it.

(The speaker is behind a solid plate of steel with holes drilled for the sound. You can't rip it out.)
