You wake up, a pounding pain in your head. Surveying your surroundings, you're still strapped in tight to your escape pod's chair. The fire extinguisher was broken, sitting in a pile of foam as one side of it had been cut open. There was a patch of light shining through a small breach in the top of the pod, next to the entrance.

You try to active the chair control, the damage making it unable to release you at first, but after a few hits, it opened right up- not proper procedure, but it got the job done.

You survey the damage on the screen in the front of the pod

Medbox fabricator: Offline- 49%
Fabricator: Online- 95%
Radio: Offline- 26%
Fire Suppressors: Offline- 56%

You hear the familiar chime of your Expalaxy device booting up, though it sounded slightly off.

I groan but get up and take inventory, looking for any food, water, or tools that might have survived the crash and were in the escape pod

You open the storage unit in the pod, revealing your impressive stash of two whole purified waters and two nutrients bar, as well as one whole med kit. Opening up your Expalaxy device, you are pleased to learn that this world has a breathable atmosphere, and slightly less pleased to learn that most of the world was covered in deep ocean. You are even more disappointed to see none of your essential tools had survived the crash, the only one salvageable was your scanner. At another glance, you notice both doors, on the top of the lifepod and bottom of the lifepod were both undamaged, and most likely functional

-Obtained Scanner

Your EXD (Expalaxy device) Beeps, having finished your medical scan

You have sustained
-Minor head trauma

This is an ideal outcome for your situation

I decide to use the med kit to hopefully heal myself up a bit and tend to my injuries, then I exit the top of the life pod to try and get a sense of how far away from the main ship I am

(You can check your stats on your character page, I'd highly advise not wasting the Med kit yet)

As you lift the top of the pod, three creatures who had been lurking near the top jumped back, plunging into the water and swimming away

As far as the eye can see, there's ocean all around you, the only other thing around, which is behind you, is the large, burning wreck of the Borealis.

You jump into the water, pulling your breathing equipment over your face before you breached the surface, your current supply won't last very long, but should be fine for a few minutes before you have to surface.

You look around at the pale crystal blue waters. The sand under you, about 8 feet down, was a pale white color, covering the dark gray rocky ground beneath you. The terrain around you seems to be a shallow area ranging from 6 feet to 11 feet deep with some holes that may lead deeper into the ground, the deepest area looks to drop to 20 feet, with a large cavern mouth in the side of the pit.

A small blue fish swims in front of your face, and looking around more, you see quite a few of these swimming close to the surface

I look around for any materials I can use to perhaps fix my ship. So metals, anything that might have fallen into the water from my pod etc. but make sure to stay near the surface in case I run out of air

(Sorry!)

You don't see anything obvious, but some stones on the sides of cliffs that look fragile enough to break, as well as some larger scraps floating in the water catch your eye. The scraps definitely didn't come from your ship, it's most likely that they came from the Borealis
