I've definitely been noticing that Sylesti that look like charismatic megafauna or look traditionally cool tend to get more hatchlings made. Aurls' phoenixy look probably isn't the best for that, and awkward proportions (or a legacy of them) is also unlikely to help, heh.
Are Puffs and Ny'venes the only non-seasonal fableds, then?

2 more.
Ferrikki are considered fabled only because they're found in only one area. The Lost Grove which is a level 60+ area at the end of the current questline. Despite being 60+ it's actually very hard to navigate at level 60 because of the difficulty of the enemies. It's not an easy area.
Nephs, also known as noodles, are fabled because they're real freaking rare. I think they're found almost anywhere?
Seasonal would be the aeri for spring, lighira for summer, ryori for fall, and griffi for winter.

Good to know, thank you. I'll make a note to capture any that I see, if at all possible.

as far as i know, nephini can be tamed once you reach the third region (Astryl's Vale), the Lost Grove, and Festival Zones :) they're just incredibly hard to find
going off of what Sakina said, themed and non-themed Ferrikki can be tamed in the Lost Grove, while only themed ferrs can be tamed in Festival Zones (albeit very rarely)

Welcome!
I think Faelora is one the most underrated species. It's one of my fave species, but not a lot of people seem to care about them. I believe that's at least in part because not a lot of different traits are available for them. They definitely need more traits!
To my taste, lunemara are also among the most underrated, but that's because I'm obsessed with moths, so that's why I love their look so much. I understand that not everyone loves moths as much as I do.
I think the most underrated species would be different for everyone, it really depends of individual taste. For some, it will be Aurleon, Bulbori, or Nytekrie (Nyte are not currently among my favorite species, but I think they have a lot of potential and I'm looking forward to their revamp).
I don't think that lighira and kelpari lack of popularity, but they are rarest than some species (Lighira are fabled, and very rare.)

I can agree that the Lunes are pretty cute when they are baby. ;)
I also like the Lupora (they have just been revamped for your info)...
I like Bulbori but they did dump down.
Forgot to say welcome. I'm such/i] an impolite person. xD
I can breed a ryori (they are a fabled species). ryori can end up being really cool.
I love zolnixis too. :)
And I also like Faelora...Could breed you a themed one...If you want.

That's fine, you remembered. :p
I'd love a themed Faelora, if it's not too much trouble! They're pretty, I think- I was kind of wanting to make one modeled after World of Warcraft's Emerald Nightmare, since that's a mutation of the natural order that I think is cool, and Faelora suit that pretty well, from the looks of it.
@Enyo: moths are amazingly pretty, I think. The little poof of fluff on the neck is like a high society scarf or feather boa, and they tend to have pretty charismatic faces when compared to other bugs- two big eyes, feathery antennae, and what look like mouth parts in the proper place. They also tend to pose with their wings outstretched like dragonflies, which makes those patterns easier to read; all in all, they're probably the most flat out beautiful bug I'm aware of. A Sylesti based off them is a good idea, in my opinion.
Also, I keep wanting to put a v in that word; it feels like it's coming from 'sylvan,' and the 'ylesti' feels too soft and muddled to say.

Hi!!
Im Kopes :)
I mostly breed NyVenes (Fabled), Luporas, and Zolnixis.
Beeing a Vene breeder and collector is rather expensive (because they are fabled)
But I love Fea so much too!!
(But thats just becaus of an odd obsessions)
Draeyl are also one of my favorites beacuse of my starter :)
I used to hoard Kelps way back when they had the old art work. Im rather disapointed with the new art so I sold most of them and kept a few sentimental ones.
I feel like Kelps got more love before their revamp.
I absalutly hate morks so I feel a bit guilty that there are not that many of them because I kill them all...
But yeah I can give you a pet off this thread.
Its not quite done I still have like 700 or so Nixis to shift though and add to the list.
