A few ideas with the current colours,
I do think however that the colour for G1 would look much better as orange or even grey (Shown below) >
(It does make the designs look cluttered though)

Personally, I think the base designs of all the Sylesti are amazing already so I usually stick with some simple stuff when I have to regen a pet. A little highlighting with a contrast color always looks nice, but other colours can be used too in order to highlight the pet's natural beauty and the intricacy of the genes and mutations.
