The martian boy startled, feeling himself drop back down to the ground. The honking horns of the metalic beasts behind him scared the freckles out of him to the point where he just "vanished" into thin air.

[Gail| Hawkgril]
She pushed through the crowds that clogged the city streets. Her tattered jacket fitted snugly over her wings in a desperate attempt to stay hidden as she made her way around criminals and civilians alike. She took a few moments to notice how the people around her seemed to always be in some sort of rush, as if rain was toxic.

Kai was too busy looking down at his phone as he made his way through the crowd. He tried his best to wipe off the droplets that fell on his phone screen. The blonde got easily frustrated though and wasn't the brightest person, so he didn't seem to accept the fact that the rain would keep falling. He let out an irritated growl and that was when his shoes hooked onto the sidewalk and he fell forward.

He was looking down at the sidewalk as he walked, barely paying any attention to his surroundings. He hurried as fast as possible, only glancing up to make sure he was on the right street. Before he realized it, someone had ran into him behind him. Soon enough he was falling too, reaching out in front of him to grab hold of anything possible. He caught onto the jacket of a girl in front of him, pulling her down as well.

[Gail| Hawkgirl]
One minuet gravity loved her, the next she was hugging the sidewalk. She felt her heart skip a beat and begin to race with her lungs for air, having landed hard enough to knock it out of her. Her jacket slipped down from the tension of the desperate grab, a few feathers popping out, twitching in the winds of freedom. As the bird coughed and wheezed for air, she surveyed what had happened through blurry eyes.

The unwittingly camouflaged martian made a break for it, in his rush he forgot he could levitate and ended up parkouring across the park instead of flying. He shakily stuffed the note in his pocket, having memorized the address, and burst out of the bushes.

"What the hell was that?" The dark haired man demanded. People had stopped to look for a few seconds but the crowd was getting thinner as more people hurried away. Lucas glared at the blonde boy that had fallen at him, then glanced with slight sympathy at the girl he had run into. "Sorry about that." He muttered, before getting up.

"I-I'm sorry." Kai stuttered. The man's bitter expression was terrifying him a bit, but he tried his best to get to his feet. He noticed two slips of paper on the floor- one of them was his, but the other...? It looked almost exactly like his, but with a different name on the back. Lucas Jordan. The same address was printed on it, and Kai felt a jolt of surprise. Before he could ask, the man snatched it up.

[Gail| Hawkgirl]
"H-hey it's alright. Are you okay?" The bird rose to her feet, her voice soft and hoarse from coughing. Something invisible powered into her side moments later, a strangled "OH F--" erupted form the bird.

[Kolivan| Martian Manhunter]
The boy ended up ramming into Gail, sending the bird flying into the sidewalk for the second time. Shortly thereafter, his camouflage faded.

[Benjamin| The Flash]
The pudgy boy reclined on the couch like a sad sack of flour. His rounded glasses lit up with blue and white light that emanated from his iPhone. He casually scrolled through meme after meme, sending a few of the more morbidly funnier ones to his friends before returning to scrolling n' trolling ever so casually.

((Also surprise surprise Lucas is being nice to Gail- wait till the plucking of feathers out of the carpet begins. Then we shall see the true side of this relationship. I foresee lots of murder plots in his head))

More swear words erupted from the twenty-one year olds mouth as the girl was flung onto the sidewalk once again. He rushed over to help her, wondering if she had just fallen because she was particularly clumsy or if it had something to do with the boy that was now visible but had been nowhere in sight a few seconds ago. He offered a hand to the girl, his eyes holding a peeved expression while his mouth stayed in an impassive line. "Try not to fall again. Or get pushed over again."

Although Lucas didn't seem expressly surprised but the boy who had barreled into the girl, Kai was feeling as if he would have a meltdown. "Y-you just... you w-weren't there two seconds ago." The poor boy had now gone ghostly pale in the face and was pointing a trembling finger at him. "How d-did yo-you even-n?" He sunk to his knees. Kai got easily overwhelmed if things surprised him too often. That's why he ignored most things that could possibly end up as farces.

[Gail| Hawkgirl]
"Y-yeah, I'll work on that." She glared daggers at the now visible boy before turning back to Lucas, her previous frustration replaced with a passive look. She grabbed his hand and hauled herself up. "Thanks."

[Kolivan| Martian Manhunter]
"--I'msosorry!--" He squeaked nervously, jumping back and away from the nerd and the bird. "I--" He started but cut himself off. "--GOTTA GO, BYE!" He ran into the bushes.

[Ben| The Flash]
Ben groaned, flipping over and mashing his face into the couch cushions, which surprisingly smelt better then the air from the c-pap he was forced to breathe. He dropped his phone, a note sliding out from the casing.

Lucas let go of her hand, the turned back to glance at Kai and Gail. Without any warning, the dark haired man sprinted into the bushes that the boy had disappeared into. He didn't seem to care if the others were following or not.

"Wait!" Kai yelled after the two guys disappeared in the bushes. "Great. I need to follow him. I think I know where he's going..." He was saying most of the words to himself and he pulled the piece of crinkled paper out of the pocket of his jeans. "This is the place. He had the same one..." And he also turned to run through the bushes.

[Gail| Hawkgirl]
"Wh--? H-hey wait up!" The bird tugged her jacket close to her body and sprinted fleet fully after them.

[Kolivan| Martian Manhunter]
The boy seemed to sense them and continued to lead the chase. He tripped a few times but always seemed to pick himself up too fast for a normal human. He continued to run, looking back over his shoulder, and ran into a gate that blocked his path. Coincidentally, it happened to be the address on the note.

Before he managed to tackle the man the gate seemed to have done it for him. Lucas tried to hide his smirk, but it was soon visible as he chuckled to himself. "Ha. You're a mess," he said, coming back to his simple phrases instead of going trough the bother of communicating with the others in full sentences.

Kai appeared through the bushes soon enough, panting and glancing up at the huge building in front of him. "Woah. That's... that's the..."

"The Hall of Justice?" The small girl offered. As soon as she spoke, some heads snapped to glance at her. She offered them a wry grin, then held up a small slip of paper with some words on it. "I take it this isn't a normal gathering of DC tourists?"

A car swerved into the driveway, nearly crashing into the edge of the fountain. It parked and a wide eyed man stepped out. His black hair was tousled and his blue eyes were wide with surprise. "Notes?" He questioned, tilting his head.
