The mountains were rocky and the sound of the stormy clouds above made Zander feel uneasy. The only reason the Seawing wasn't about to bolt was because this was truly going to be an exciting and perilous adventure- and of course, the sound of the water at the coast was somewhat comforting, even in the mountain range. He was just about to give up and wait for the others when he spotted a quick flash of copperish red- Skywing scales! "Ember!" He called out to the other dragon.

Princess Starling was extremely bored. Her day had been dull so far. Her regular day in the palace, learning how to behave proper and just in the ruling of her subjects. The young lavender colored dragonet sighed and wandered the palace garden. The garden was just a bunch of pastel colored flowers creeping up the sides of one of the peaks. It was her favorite place to spend time in the Featherwing palace. There were plenty of herbs, rocks and berries that she used to make her paint.

Slate wandered the tunnels attached to the Cavewing's underground system, searching for any pretty stones he might find. He gently put his claws up to the side of the tunnel, feeling for the stones. He loved collecting anything shiny, but the only shiny things that were underground that he had seen so far were stones.

Goldfinch was just doing his normal patrols, looking through the garden as per usual, when he spotted a gentle lavender color. He mentally considered whether or not it would be out of place of him to talk to the princess. He decided, since he would probably be working along side her in the future, he should go and say something.

"Hello, Princess Starling" Goldfinch approached with a respectful bow, keeping his voice quiet in hopes he wouldn't startle her

She turned, hearing the soft voice. "Oh, hello!" She dipped her head back at the golden colored Featherwing. A guard, perhaps? "Is there anything you'd like?" She asked, confused. The others rarely talked to her for some reason, and she always secretly wished that she could make some friends.

Alum hopped down the tunnel.."Helllooo?" she asked.It sounded like someone was whacking into the wall.hmmmm sounds like someone is stuck... she hopped forwards and saw the dragon who looked like Andesite hitting the wall."Did'ja get something stuck in your scales?" she asked walking a bit closer

-Oh, uh, um, no, not really, I just figured Id say hi, Im one of the guards in training on patrol here, Im doing well enough that Im allowed to do solo patrols in areas like this... what about you? Are you here to look at the flowers? Im quite fond of the purple coneflowers- he observed some purple flowers nearby. Admittedly, he knew only about 7 types of flowers, but he wanted to seem smarter to impress the princess

-Huh? Oh, yeah, the mushrooms here in the east are a lot different from the ones up North, some of the mush got stuck in my teeth, so I tried using a stone to scrape it out, and it got stuck- Shale lied -But I think I got it now, thanks He said, thinking for a few moments.

Actually, since youre here, Im visiting from up North with my sister, and we got separated a little while ago, if you can find her, her name is Basalt, she looks like me, but her markings are a little darker- Shale requested.

"I like spending time out here to paint, but yes, the flowers are very nice." Starling laughed, glancing at the gorgeous wildflowers he was pointing to. "The morning glories are my personal favorite, but they're difficult to find up here. Mother is offering me a small garden of them, but... oh, I haven't introduced myself. I'm Starling." She grinned, tilting her head. "It's nice to meet someone who likes flowers."

"Oh, yeah, I know... I mean, you're kind of the Princess I'm protecting, uh, not specifically I mean, I'm just training to be part of the royal guard and you're the heiress so everyone kind of knows who you are" Goldfinch internally cringed at his words that spilled out of his mouth. "I mean, yeah, it's nice to officially meet you too, its nice to meet someone who likes flowers as well" Goldfinch was internally screaming at this point, not believing how dumb he probably sounded, and now he would have to become an overnight expert on flowers.

"Morning glories..." Goldfinch looked at the flowers she was pointing too. They looked incredibly familiar, then t struck him. "Oh! My aunt Hyacinth has a garden with tons of those things! I'm really fond of her Fiordaliso, if you want, I can bring you some, she grows soooo many types of blue flowers" Goldfinch offered.
