Personality: On the outside they can seem quite rude, they give snappy answers and talk in a clipped tone. they think darkly, implying odd things. in truth they are misunderstood most of the time, despite their rough exterior they are a lost soul. They have issues understanding others emotions and how people socialize, but they are quick thinkers who are observant. They are very loyal to their friends to the end and won't ever betray them.
Backstory: Kal wasn't much of a special kid, he did a lot of reading and was more of the quieter kids. But they have really keen senses, their parents taught him self defense and that was about it as they needed to defend themself against bullies who'd normally come and harass them. They don't know they are the child of Heimdall yet, just that they don't have a father.

I just realized that your character's going to be called an argr because they don't identify with a gender, kind of like Alex in Magnus Chase.
I do not think your character would be taught jujutsu in a Norse village.
