Orion was walking quietly in a large parc, lost in his dreams. This parc was in his favorite place in this busy modern city. It showed that there could be a place for nature even in the middle of biggest metropolis built by humans. It was a place where he felt more like at home than in the streets. Here, he also felt like he was in a frontier between two worlds, and it was almost a metaphor for the time he was living in, a time where the frontier between magic and technology had become huge, almost impassable. Without even realizing it, he had started humming the melody of a song.
It was a beautiful day. There was only a few white clouds in the blue sky, and the trees where flowering.
Orion almost never disguised himself. He felt like when he was hiding his face, it showed that he had secrets to hide, while when he was acting naturally, as if he was any normal human who was not a shapeshifter, most people did not even pay attention to him.

Astraeus watched him and nodded. "Yes, this is 8 by 8. The team is fine, although recently there was the mage attack on the town nearby this city. The town is managing right now, but our superiors have not asked us for help yet, so we will not go. Anyways, shall I invite Annalise? The more the merrier." Without waiting for an answer, Astraeus tapped her watch a couple of times, sending a message to Annalise for her to come to the hospital room where Medios was. That done, she looked back at the boy. "So! You can be white, then. You go first." She quickly set up the pieces.

I sigh with relief when I get the message and quickly hurry to the hospital room. I can see as I walk that my vision blurs slightly and starts to darken but I quickly shake it away. I open the door to find Astraeus playing a game of chess with some kid I hadn't seen before.

Medios heard the newcomer, he stretched out his arm shakily as if not quite sure where to reach it and knowing he probably looked like an idiot. He gave a wide smile, "Hello. Welcome to my humble hospital room" he gave a grin and moved the king forward by one place where he knew it could go, "Astraeus is taking me out to town later today."

_{(this isn't going to go well so i'm just going to say he moved a piece forward, backwards or something)}

Astraeus looks up when Annalise enters. "Ah, Annalise, my friend. Welcome. This is Medios," she gestured to Medios, careful not to knock over the chessboard while she did so. "He is the brains of our Hunter group. Care to join us?" She watched her old friend carefully; she seemed to be more tired than the last time they had met.

Edit: There's a pawn in front of the king XD you can't move the king without moving the pawn.

"Hey Medios, I'm Annalise. It's really nice to meet you." She then grins gratefully over at Astraeus "Sorry I woke up late, but well....nightmares' she says shortly and goes to sit down with them watching the game curiously. She had a feeling Medios might be blind but he had a good chance of winning (Don't prove me wrong Ivy!!!)

Astraeus nudged Medios' hand gently. "It is your move." She knew he probably couldn't see much due to the bandages over his head, so she moved his hand to touch the pawns in the first row. "Try not to knock over anything, okay?" She added the last part teasingly.

she smiles as she watch them play Astraeus helping Medios. "So any news about the Mages?" she asks after a little bit. She wonders whether or not there ever really will be any fighting. There probably will but it seems sorta far away, not quite real yet.

_{(Ivy quietly moved the pawn out of the way for the king to get through for the second/ first turn)}

He gave a nod and chuckle, "What's your favourite type of flower, Annalisa?" he spoke cheerfully, not wanting to think about the mages for now as he interrupted the conversation. He tried to recall where Astraeus would've moved her piece by the numbers she told him they were on the board. He breathed in the smell of the room, smiling. He looked back over to where his wheelchair was, feeling the things that'd been stuck onto him strain on his arms.

Astraeus folded her hands beneath her chin as she looked at Annalise. "In fact, yes. As I was telling Medios before you arrived, the town nearby this city is under mage attack. It is holding out as of now, and our superiors have not given us the order to move, but Medios wants to go see, so we will be going there soon." She moves knight to C6 for the first turn and then a pawn to B6, then awaited Medios' move.
