*Dawn nods her head at what Cocoa said and then looks down at Kirk out of the corner of her left eye; ( You won't hurt them they are stronger than they look.) She focuses back onto the puff close to her. ( I am a Qitari filly mare.) *She kept her right wing folded against her side the feathers ruffled a little which caused them to shimmer.*

Kirk swallowed a bit nervously, looked up, and began to climb. "Mama says don't look down when you climb," he muttered nervously. He tried to be careful as he scrambled up, his little claws hooking onto the feather shafts. A moment later, he was settled between Dawn's wing roots, in the center of her shoulders. "Thank you, Dawn. Your legs are long, and mine are short, and I couldn't keep up."

"a quitari? only a couple are in this forest" *looks at Kirk* "and what breed are you?" *i sit down near the two, butkeeping a small distance, wondering if they are friendly as well*

*Dawn folded her left wing tightly to her side so that it was the same as her right one. It was dangerous to open them among the trees, they could get injured or even broken and she didn't want to waste energy on healing them. She turned her head on her long, slender neck and looked at Kirk; ( I had a feeling that you were struggling and I hoped that this would make it easier for you.) She looked at Cocoa; ( My herd were placed in these woods to help protect them and their animals from humankind.) *

Me? Kirk said. Im a ferrikki. So is everyone in my family. He looked around curiously. Things sure look different from up here.

He peered down at Cocoa. Helloooo down there! He said to her playfully. Where should we go now?

*Dawn snorts and shakes her head, finally she stretches her left wing out to Cocoa; ( Come on, climb onto my back behind Kirk. We'll be able to cover more ground with you both up there.) She kept looking around watching for danger or strangers. She tilted her head as she herd her mom and dad whinny in the distance. She threw her head back and whinnied the sound echoing through the trees*

"you sure you want me up there? and where are you two headed?" *i get up and look at Dawn, curiously*

Kirk shifted uneasily on Dawns shoulders. Would there be room for both him and Cocoa up here? Then, he heard the whinnying sounds through the woods, and nearly fell off Dawns shoulders altogether when she whinnied. What was THAT? He asked in confusion.
