Are you all alone out her? You have begun to talk to your pet... well, anyways, no, no family. The other girl may have had some though. I dont know. She seems rather quiet. Everybody is different I guess. Oh, and to answer your question about how old I am, I am 7, 8 on December 31! she said, rather proudly.

"Alone? I'm not alone, though I was when I first came here. Flicker found me not long after that, ever since we have been trailing together to find The Light." He paused at the words, a slight smile crossing his face. "He said that if we find the light then I will be able to remember why I came here. I don't really believe that, not with how long I have been here." Sam sighed after a moment. "But since we found you he said that there is a better chance of finding The Light! We can all find it and get our memories back!"

You really have lost it, havent you. I aint about to go on a journey with a stranger. I am not aloud to even talk to strangers, so I am breaking the rules big time right now. How do you even know The Light will return your memories? Blue said. She crossed her arms and looked up at him.

"Flicker has helped many people before us find it, he says it's his job. He helps the lost find their way." Sam answered with a smile. "I'm not saying you have to follow, only that if you wish to remember who you are or who your family was then this is your best bet. Not to mention that there are blood thirsty monster out their waiting for someone to lose their way..."

"I'll stay with you,"

Fine, Ill come. I wanna get back to wherever home is, so I will come. Blue mumbled.

"Good choice! We will get to moving in the morning for now you two should rest, you took quite the beating in the crash." Sam said with a yawn. From the right of the fire the brush parted and Flicker trotted forward a small black bodied animal grasped in his jaw. He dropped it at the feet of the man before sitting back in his spot watching the children for a moment.
'I trust he has told you where we are headed.' The animal said to everyone, though his mouth never moved to form the words.
"Yep! We just got done talking about it." Sam smiled. He picked up the small eyeless creature at his feet. Its body was hairless yet completely black in color, and shaped like a weasel. It's head was tipped with small tentacles, no doubt for feeling about the environment. "Awesome you managed to get a Skeavel! These things are awesome tasting if you cook them right!" With that the man took to gutting the animal and placing it on a skewer over the fire. "Should be done in a few minutes, I bet you two are starved."

She tried hard not to gag

Blue shook her head. Naw, Im good... she said quietly.

"You sure? There isn't much around here to eat, not like the food that you find at home. All the animals here seem to be strange as well."
