Samantha had just arrived, parking and locking her car as her children Miranda and Deborah hopped out. Her other two children, Jason and Gale, were at home with her husband. Deborah was carrying a tray of cupcakes while Miranda was carrying some baked macaroni and sweet potatoes.
Samantha waved hello to the secretary, her kids doing the same. She walked into the meeting room, her kids setting down the food and heading to their clubs.
"Afternoon, ladies!" Samantha smiles as she takes a seat.

Tori answered pulling her phone out and opening the group text, including all the woman and wives in the neighborhood. 'Hey guys about the welcome party tomorrow what is everyone bringing?' Upon receiving the text, Karen immediately whipped out her phone.
Im planning on bringing some of my famous apple pie + snickerdoodles- cant wait! ;)
She texted. Growing up, her aunt had made the most amazing apple pie, and she was lucky enough to know the secret recipe. Not only that, but her old friends snickerdoodle recipe was to die for.

After Nicole parked in the school parking lot she noticed the text. Me and my kids will bake a chocolate chip mint pie! she texted back. She sighed, it was the only thing she knew how to bake.

Oh hello! Youre the new mom, Jessica, right? Dont worry, youll fit right in honey Karen said reassuringly. Anyways, first thing on the agenda today, the valentines dance for the 6-8 graders is on Friday, and we need volunteers to help with decorations and snacks, and we also need a DJ, but I think I know someone for that Karen announced to the group
