Freiden climbed over a log, blinking. In front of him was another monster, also blinking. It looked vaguely deer-like, but it's body was covered in eyes. All of them were focused on Freiden, before it turned around and bounded off. Feeling curious, Freiden strolled after it.

Marilyn followed as best she could, marking her path by carving the trees with her knife every once and a while. She felt no closer to whatever she was following, but she kept going. She felt stupid and maybe a little crazy for actually doing this, thinking this entire thing was pointless. Whatever she saw here obviously has more experience in the woods than she does. Finally though, she thinks she's getting closer.

Freiden trailed after the monster for a while, before it eventually raced off faster than Freiden could run. He stopped, sitting down and leaned against a oak. He pulled out his scrapbook and began doing a simple sketch of the creature. He wasn't the greatest artist; but it was fun to try.

Marilyn kept going even though she could't see them anymore, they must have gotten tired with this and went away. She still marked the path, though she didn't do it as often when she was running so she should be careful on her return trip. She heard a faint noise she recognized as a pencil and paper, she heard it a lot so it wasn't to hard to figure it out. Someone else was out here, maybe they saw them. The moment she saw the person she smiled and said "Hey! Have you seen a bunch of eyes running around here?"

(I'm so, so, so, so sorry that I haven't replied!! I've been busy with homework and school activities, but I promise I'll be more active!)

Freiden looked up, startled. When he saw Marilyn, his eyes narrowed a bit. "No." He responded bluntly, pressing his drawing and pencil to his chest protectively. He brought his legs in closer to his chest, just as protection and as a sign that he didn't want to talk. He didn't trust this random lady, and Freiden wasn't the most trusting type.

"You sure probably head home. That's what I'm doing."

(That's totally fine! I'll probably be on, but I won't have the time to respond to a role play maybe till after the holidays are over.)

(Okay, I'm back kinda. I'm probably going to be on less but we can continue if you want.)

Marilyn frowned, this guy obviously wanted her to get lost. "That's weird, I know they went this way. You must have seen something or at least heard something." She responded. She started this trek out into the forest knowing she probably wouldn't find it, but she started to get excited for a minute, thinking she would actually see it. She wanted to know at least something new about it.
