Hi! I have a couple of ideas.
1. Sanguinem Caelum (Latin-Blood Sky) I feel like this name, despite being in a different language, fits this design. The 'Sanguiem' part refers to the Griffi's crimson coloring. The 'Caelum' defines the galaxy-like pattern on the Griffi's body.
2. Sieri Pogisa (Samoan-Dark Cherry) This is perhaps a lighter idea for the naming. The Griffi is obviously very dark colored, and the red is a cherry-like color. This isn't as disturbing as the others, but it could be if portrayed like it.
3. Kanari (Japanese-Pretty) This one is fairly obvious. The Griffis are very glamorous, and eye-catching. They are definitely the end result of a long and hard project. This is a shorter name, but it fits the overall appearance of the Griffi.

How about Crimson Bane? Since the red is at the tips of the feathers, and surrounding the eyes, it's almost like blood dripping. But Crimson sounds more pleasant. Bane means to cause distress/annoyance, or something that causes death. The black on the Griffi could symbolize mourning, which goes along with the distress theme, and red could symbolize anger or annoyance. also, the red of the eyes reminds me of perhaps a disease, or something blood related that could lead towards death.
