because it look me time and effort to draw. If minimum wage is $8 an hour and i spend and hour and a half drawing it, id still be making less than minimum wage for it. I usually sell them for USD, so offering them for gold allows people to purchase them without having to spend real life money. I know 2,500,000 is a lot , that's why i'm willing to accept lower offers as long as they aren't too low.
$10 converts to 2,500,000 gold though,

Not saying its wrong to want money for the time and effort put into the art. But sometime it is better giving than recive. But that's my opinion, have fun selling.

I'm not really into adopts but I just wanted to say these look super great!! Especially that pink faun(?), it's so fluffy ovo
But I do want to warn you, the art economy on here is kinda... cheap. People selling fully lined and colored art for about 2000 gold and stuff like that :/
But anyway, good luck with this!

Bless you for being one of the few to be adamant about pricing correctly.
I'm a little shocked at the 'it's just a picture' and 'it's better to give than to receive' comments :(
We artists gotta eat too >.>
But enough about that. Do you also offer regular commissions, or only adoptables?

Thanks. I figure i'm already offering a discount here (willing to haggle quite a bit) so i'd rather not make the price the equivalent of a few pennies. I was also pretty shocked at that.
I'd be more than happy to offer regular commissions though , what are you thinking?

Exactly. You're already generously offering discounts, no need to stoop to being paid mere pennies for hours over hours of work that stems from many many years. >_<
Hmm.. how much would you ask for a flatcolored, lined headshot? :D Of say.. this pet?
I'd love to know so I can make a note for when I have the money on hand to buy some art :3
(Currently sitting on ~900k and 20 diamonds haha and I'm signed up for so many max stat pets!)

I'd be more than happy to do that. I would say ~$5 , so 500 gems or 1.25 mil gold. that being said i'm more than open to a counter offer if that's too high. (adorable pet btw)

Oooh no that is absolutely not too much! Okay, I'll see to coming back next month or earlier if I get some commissions of my own done, and then I'd be happy to pay you $5 or 500 diamonds, whichever you'd prefer :D
And thank you! She's modeled after my pet cat who died earlier this year, so she means the world to me <3
I look forward to someday having customizable pet profiles to showcase art on~
