Kara's head didn't move, as if she hadn't noticed. However, inside she was considering all the factors of the noise. It came from the tree, so it had to be a vulnyx, aurleon, lunemara, lighira, aerdini, griffi, ny'vene, possibly draeyl or zolnixi, and maybe a nytekrie. She rolled over onto her back, looking up. But from the very corner of her eye, she spotted it. The very tiny tinge of blue. She got up and walked into the forest, then made a silent roundabout. As she saw the color again, she scaled up the tree and lunged at it, pinning the male Vulnyx to the tree. Her eyes widened in surprise as she saw who it was.

Maria~
The forest used to be her favorite place to visit and live but now it seemed to be her least favorite. Without color there was nothing to love. Fall was now time a time when the trees turned bare, spring a time when that annoying love snap made the males crazy, winter a time when white covered the ground making everything harder to see. Water was so much harder to see, flowers were only known by their smells, and the leaves no longer had color! It was terrible! With a sigh the female morkko padded along the well worn trail she had made to the watering hole where she caught fish to eat. Save for the gem like growths coming from her ears she too was colorless though she had been since the beginning. Least her eyes were still colorful setting her apart from the others. With heavy steps she walked forward into the water splashing some as she did. Oh what she would die for blue water again! Sadly though that was out of her power, she was only one being. One color was not going to bring back the whole rainbow. She stopped in her game and sighed. There was someone else around she could feel them. Perhaps a shadow being? "Who's there?" She called out half heartedly.

Altair-
Where could the cat be? He could have sworn he smelt it come this way! Maybe he was mistaken. With a heavy sigh he put his head down and thought for a moment. "This is hopeless. For all I know I'm the last." He said quietly to himself. Yes he talked to himself but in a world where everyone wanted to kill him, someone had to be your friend. With that he thought it good to settle for a break. With a slight huff he took a seat at the foot of a tree trunk the whole time watching his surroundings. You could never let you guard down, that was what got you killed. Before he settled though an uncolored came bounding out from the bushes about him. With a growl he raised to his feet before relizing that it was not him they were after but the cat he had been tracking. That was a relief though it came too late as he had already stood showing his glowing eyes from beneath the cloak. Maybe she hadn't seen?

"Shh!" Shadow hissed. "You are stupid to think you should be talking here." She saw the morkko. "It's better to stay quiet here." She stepped out into the light.

Korak's instinct kept him frozen despite the warning, and he only managed to move just as he was tackled. He yowled loudly as he was pinned, then looked up at his trapper. He hissed, but didn't try to free himself. He didn't dare hurt a lady, not when he could smell the potential she carried.

Maria~
It was a shadow being! Be quiet? Why? What would it help? The brids were not quite, the water not silent so why should she? "What ever are you talking about?" She asked a bit softer. If there was one thing she was good at it was not following advice.

"You think you would turn around and see me?" Shadow laughed and then said. "But don't you know that you might be hunted? There are hunters...... they will kill you for nothing!"

Maria~
Hunters? She had killed many a hunter in her day, though she didn't let that get her down. If anything it made her feel just a bit more powerful. "Nothing is an understatement, they want the color I have. It may not seem like much but they want it. All they want is color back in the world, much like all of us do." She said now takin a step from the water. "Though I think that I'm safe, I can hold my own."

"Good luck........" Shadow said and went back into the shadows that surrounded her.

Kara wondered of the best way to bring him to her master, and decided she would have to hold him by the neck, drag him if she had to. She pushed him and herself to the edge of the branch, where it bent down enough to allow a safe fall. She carried the male with her, then walked through the underbrush with his neck held tightly in her jaw.

Korak grumbled to himself and then walked as best as he could to avoid hurting his neck. He tried to meet her eyes but the way she held him made it hard. So, he tried to strike up a friendly talk. "So, how was your day?" He said with some difficulty.
