I love the idea of a "pound". There are instances were a pet is released simply because the member no longer "wants" it and does not want to deal with trying to sell it. What if someone else really does want the pet, but never gets the opportunity unless they can manage to come across and catch it.

I imagine a Sylesti in the wild would do well, but some of the types would (I imagine) to benefit from some human contact and might long for someone to give it a home.
