I'm not sure what you're saying the pet is supposed to have.

When I look, its parents have pink for all mutations. I checked and the baby does as well.

However, it cloned its EC for AC still. -_-

This is driving me crazy~

I have absolutely no idea what the issue is. Looking at the code, it just simply pulls ALL genetic data for both parents from the only table in the database that stores genetic data... there's not like... multiple versions of pets saved anywhere. The pet is what it is. If it shows pink, then it's pink. Etc.

Then, it clearly takes all of those colors from the parents and performs the simple function of finding a random color between the two... and AC is clearly defined as its own independent color based on the AC of both parents.

Then it takes all of that data and sends it to the 'createpet' function where it clearly records the AC. However, once it's reaching that point, that function is thinking AC doesn't exist for some reason so it is just arbitrarily assigning EC.

Seems like it's a problem for all tagged puffs, and not just those with updated themed colours...

Been keeping an eye on how the Lunar New Year puffs would turn out, and seems like the offspring still copies the EC for AC, even though both parents have unique AC...

Took me 15 seconds to realize the issue after reading your post.

I was looking in the wrong place this entire time. Breeding Grounds seems fine. I'm guessing all of these pets were created via breeding on the profile page of pets?

I had forgotten to update that script for AC and I have now added it.

So I *hope* this issue is now resolved?

I guess I'll have to write a script or something and update all offspring or something for their AC... after a certain period of time... I don't even know.

I'll have to think about how I want to approach that.

Ahh... ok. Glad you managed to find the issue!

I'll test it once I'm back on my laptop. But yeah, I've not had any pair of tagged puffs to breed with through the breeding grounds.
