The Star Forest animals ran (or flew) towards the border, when they got there, Dark purple wolves, bears, foxes, cougars, eagles, and other animals stood there, looking at the forest animals hungrily with their deep cold red eyes.
"Kona, long time no see." a large grizzly said silkily.
"Tamour. Get off of our land." Kona growled, his long brown fur spiked up in anger. It was said that the wolf leader, Kona, never feared anything, and Dark Creatures were no exception.
"Why leave, when there are cubs to be gobbled, and throats to rip out?" Tamour asked, inspecting his paws.
"Tamour, I'm warning you." the brown wolf warned.
"I think... We'll stay." the bear said. He turned to his Dark Creature army, "ATTACK!!!" he roared, standing on his hind legs. The Dark Army rushed into battle, throwing themselves on the Star Forest Army.
Pa'uan and Syphira fought side by side, apprentice and master. Syphira sent a bear scurrying over the borderline. The Forest eagles and the winged animals dropped heavy stones on the unsuspecting Dark Creatures. Suddenly, Pa'uan poked his head over the battling masses.
"Where's Flamme?" he asked.
"Pa'uan!" growled his mentor, "Focus on battling!"

Flamme lit herself on fire burning anyone near her. They screamed and some were unlucky because they were so close

"Oh! There she is!" Pa'uan said, pointing to a gigantic moving flame. A Dark bear ran up to him and stabbed him in the stomach with a long, steel-coated claw. Pa'uan keeled over. In a rage of fury, Syphira scratched the bear's face so much, that it hardly even resembled the animal. she bent over the small wolf. His wound looked deep, but suddenly, a white light engulfed Pa'uan. After a few moments, the light faded, leaving Pa'uan good as new. His wounds had healed over.
"I didn't know you could do that!" Syphira said, in an awed voice.
"I didn't either!" the wolf said, before throwing himself once again, into the battle. Pa'uan's healing had given the old fox new strength, and they fought along side each other an unstoppable team.

Soon everyone ran away in fear from Flamme who sent shots of fire at the animals who got to close but finally someone with water powers put out her flame

"You'll set some of your own team on fire if you keep that up." a gray wolf rasped.

Flamme nodded and fought on. Every animal who had seen her burst into flames was wary of getting close to her

Riker Sat out side of camp he always got left behind when there was a battle. He perked his ears up feeling something approaching. Suddenly Tikki leaped down a brown scarf encasing her neck and her bag filled with things. She landed silently beside Riker "Hey Pup, where did everyone run off to?" she asked Shaking dust from her fur.

"RETREAT!!!!" Tamour yelled. The Dark Army fled across the border. The fighting was over. The Star Army regrouped to see who was among the dead or missing.
"Has anyone seen Kona?" a small Shiba Inu asked, licking an injured paw. Suddenly, a scream sent chills down everyone's spine. Syphira stood over the Kona's body, which was stirring feebly. His tail had been completely torn off, and he wasn't able to move his legs.
"Kona, are you all right?!" she asked. The brown wolf lay on the ground in shock.
"I-I can't feel my legs." he rasped.
"Get him back to camp. Lani will be able to treat him." she said to two golden eagles. Lemonade and Limeade slid a blanket under Kona, and airlifted him back to the village. Syphira, like a natural leader, ordered that the rest should carry the dead back or help the wounded back.
"Is Kona going to be all right?" Pa'uan asked.
"I don't think so. He may never be able to walk again. If Lani can't do anything about it, then it's a lost cause." Syphira said grimly. The two padded back to camp with the others.

Flamme had burns because she wasn't immune to her own flames

As soon as they arrived at the village, family went to greet those who came back, to help those who were injured, and to mourn those who were dead. Kona's mate, Talia, smoothed his fur as Lani tended to his legs.
He still didn't feel anything, so Lani insisted that she should stick a sharp branch straight through his leg to see if he felt it. she was only stopped by his furious mate. The black winged bear cubs ran round her legs asking for a story.
"Sorry, I'm tired right now. I'l tell you tomorrow morning." Syphira yawned, heading to her small den. It was very dark by the time she finally fell asleep. Her dreams were filled with the terrors she witnessed in the battle. She knew though, that in a few days, she'd forget all about it.
