Insert some vegetarian recipes delivered to us by a lime green Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Chickpeas in Coconut Milk Vegetables... for Bachelors
Proceeding to pull links to other things off of a friend's facebook page, where she's been posting up recipes as she's been deciding to try them, and making a fair number of them afterwards.
Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding Squash 'Doritos' Vegan Sugar-free Jam - all you need is a blender, a jar, and a refrigerator No bake 'Coconut Crack' Bars
I tend to see these labeled as 'Trim Healthy Mama' recipes
Last off, some 'No Bake Energy Bites' from the facebook page of another friend who happens to be a personal trainer or something similar -
1 cup (dry) oatmeal
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
Mix ingredients together in a large bowl. Roll into bite size balls. Refrigerate to set. Enjoy!!
This would be the link to the last one, it just doesn't seem to be coming through properly when I try and link it on here -

So, this isn't a recipe. Or it is, sort of.
No measurements, because this is very much the kind of thing where "Add to taste" is VERY much the wise advice.
I had some leftover chicken, and was feeling all chickened out- you know how it is. Time to get creative so it doesn't go to waste. Usually at this point, I make chicken salad for chicken salad sandwiches, because good chicken salad never gets old; usually its mayo, and the chicken, and some seasoned salt and diced celery. Very simple, but how my mom used to do it.
But I ran out of seasoned salt. >.< totally spaced getting it last time at the store. So... I used Sriracha hot sauce in with the mayo. Spicy Thai Chicken salad! Next time, I'm putting a little cilantro in, and some diced cucumbers too.
It is sooo very much the om nom nom. I can't wait to do it again!
And I can't wait to try out some of these recipes. I love experimenting with new ideas!
Especially those energy bites... they look nom-tastic.

Sooo, I don't have a a picture. Because I made that one recipe totally on accident. Because, you know, I am literally BANNED from going into the kitchen because of all the times I've made the Microwave explode. Which more than likely makes you not want to try what I'm going to say. Which, you know, I totally don't blame you for. xD
It's for Tuna Salad.
So, Basically I just...Put like, five different kinds of mustard in a bowl with some Tuna. And mixed some Mayo, Celery, Pickle Relish, chopped onions and chunks of hard boiled eggs in.
Mixed it all together, prayed that I wasn't condemning myself to a slow death of mega food poisoning, and put some on a piece of toasted bread with some Cheese and a piece of lettuce and Viola! The best thing I have ever, and probably will ever, create(d)! xD I blame no one for steering clear of me and this recipe like the plague.

Steer clear? Bah! That's a perfectly good concoction!
the reason it was so good was the mustard and the melty cheese- who doesn't love a tuna melt!! You just made me crave one so bad.
I wonder if I have any tuna fish...

Supercook does have some great tips! Another one, that I haven't found there but learned on my own, is to grow as many of your own vegetables as you can. Even when I had only an apartment, I grew tomatoes, green beans, squashes (mostly zucchini and summer squash), and eggplant in large terra cotta pots on my tiny fire escape. I planted in mid-May and harvested from July through October (Zone 5), so basically that was four months of fresh vegetables and another four or five months of frozen veggies from my tiny backdoor "garden" via blanching - I do not like the taste of canned vegetables, so I don't can them. Anyway, it saved me probably several hundred dollars' worth of fresh produce over those eight or nine months.

This recipe is for a spiked iced coffee.
Things needed:
Vanilla Extract
Ground/Instant Coffee
Coffee Liqueur
Sugar
Milk
First, you'll need to brew some coffee. Once it's done, pour it into plastic glass, add a spoonful or two of sugar into it, and then add a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir the coffee to mix the vanilla extract and sugar thoroughly into hot coffee. Add a splash of Coffee Liqueur (I used Baileys) and milk. Put it in the fridge to cool for a hour to three roughly. Enjoy!
I made some yesterday. Quite tasty! This recipe you can modify to your taste on the amount of the coffee liqueur and milk as well as well, basically everything!

Not much of a real recipe, but it's really, REALLY good. Me and my roommate got really bored one time and made some Italian Dressing. Then we took some boneless, skinless, chicken breasts and cut them up and fried them up in the dressing. We even added half cooked potatoes as well and it's really good.
