Pokemon~ *Froth* It's the only console series I still avidly play. @.@ I only ever get new consoles so I can play the new games, and I've been playing them since Red/Blue. I don't play the spinoff games, and I don't watch the anime, though.

But yeah, I usually pick the water type for my starters, purely because you can load them up with the most HMs. The choice that's going to be hard for me is which girl to pick, because I have light skin and dark hair in RL. I usually like to go with the options that look most like me, but none of the skin/hair color combos really match up. x.x

I'm so anxious to see what all the new pokemon are gonna be~ And my guess for the new Eevee is Fighting type. X3

I don't understand people's complaints about the system change ... it's LOOONNNGGG overdue. The DS is the only system to get 2 generations of Pokemon games.

3 gens would seriously be ridiculous, especially since the 3DS has been out for how many years now? 2?

Personally I don't use the 3D on my 3DS at all... maybe a little bit for Mario Kart, but not for anything else, heck most first person shooters make me feel nauseous XD

ANYWAY, enough of the mild 3DS defending rant... onto the Pokemon <3

Personally I think Fennekin is ADORBABLE (extra b for extra adorableness) ... and following some of the speculation of the starters having opposite dual typing... i.e. Fennekin's evolution is part Psychic, Froakie's is part Fighting and Chespin's is part Dark. (I only talk about this speculation because I believe it has some grounding based on the gameplay shown in the original announcement)

If the dual typing proves to be correct, I will almost certainly be going for Chespin. Just because Grass and Dark are 2 of my favourite types... then again, it will also depend on what other pokemon are available early-ish in the game.

There are also plenty of Grass and Dark types that I love to use already, but not so many fire types, so Fennekin may well be my starter of choice (ALSO GOGOAT <3). BUT I imagine it will probably hinge on what the final evolutions look like. (I flat out refuse to use Tepig, just because I really can't stand how either of its evolutions look, nor the fact that they're Fire/Fighting types AGAIN >.>

One more thing I'm really happy about... Zigzagoon is available near the start of the dex. Linoone is so underated as a normal type. I love it :3 (Also, the Flame Charge using super tiny Robin Pokemon I can't remember the name of... HOW CUTE IS THAT THING?!)

GOGOAT IS MY FAV ♥ LOL XD But Froakie, I find now awesome since he's part fighting type OuO And I love me some good fighting types, since I haven't really been fond of fighting types for a while >.<

WHELP... at the end of the day I doubt any of us REALLY know what starter we're gonna go for until we know more about all of them. (Particularly if the dual type speculation is true... man I SERIOUSLY HOPE SO <3)
ALSO, until we know more about what sort of Pokemon are going to be available for our teams before the national dex.

BUT, I'm still swinging towards Fennekin... I'm so fussy about fire types and it's suuu cuuuutttee. (Although, Froakie could be tempting if gen VI is anything like gen V and you don't get any whiff of a fishing rod until after you beat the game D: )

Damn it. I guess it's "Eeny, meeny, miny, mo" to decide my starter. (I can't pick one!)

ikr, ever since I've heard about the new Pokémon I've been saving up.

Every time I get paid: "This much goes to sylestia.....This much goes to food for Mr. Kitty.....This much goes to 3DS.....This much goes in bank acc--Oh, No more money....Meh, Screw bank account!"

IKR, I'm a bit scared tho to giv money to sylestia tho... I usually get my diamonds from games... I would give money, but using my credit card has become a turn off for me, and I dislike over the phone pay. I wouldn't mind game cards tho. I keep wanting to give money for a genetic tester, but I keep finding something else I want for diamonds, and now I gotta wait till I can get 1.2k diamonds lol.
