He grabbed her leg, still dizzy. "Pepper stop please." July begged her. He winced and he sat up slowly. "Pepper please!" He said holding her arm so she could use the wipe. "Just stop." The surrounding area grew darker as the bigger demon melted away and grew into the figure of a man whom was nothing more than a shadow.

"I see you met my friend..." The shadow hissed. "You should not have hurt him though, he doesn't like pest that hurt him." The demon appeared again by him it's red eyes penetrating the darkness. "What is that you say?" The figure said looking at the demon. "You think that the humans should pay for their crimes? Well by all means be my guest!" The demon flicked its cat like tail before turning towards them. It crouched and lundges at them. The stones began to glow brightly fending off the monster and the shadow figure. "What's this?!"

"Hades." A females voice said. "You have broke your promise...."

"I have not! I said I would not kill them, not that I wouldn't have one of my demons kill them for me." The shadow figure said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Leave them alone until it's your time, we had a deal." The female said. The shadow figure growled and disappeared leaving only the light of the stones to remind them of the fright they had.

"He didn't hurt you did he?" The female voice asked as she appeared before them.

Pepper stepped away from the spot where she had been lashing the demon and stared at the lady that had appeared before them. The lady looked very bright and had golden hair that cascaded down her shoulder she had sky blue eyes that were looking at them in a concerned way. Pepper felt suddenly very self conscious "I I'm very sorry ma'am." "I'm not hurt but my friend July here took a pretty nasty hit." She said trying to casually hide the bloody whip behind her back.

July slowly got to his feet a hand on his head. "I'm fine." He growled picking his revolver up from where it lay on the ground. "Who are you?" He asked looking at the lady.

"Pardon my manners. I'm Eirene, the goddess of peace." She said with a slight smile. "And you are July and Pepper are you not? I can tell because of those stones." July put a hand on his necklace. "Tell me children do you know what Rhodes stones are?"

"Not really we just know that they glow when there's monsters." Pepper replied nervously "other than that we don't know jack about em."

"I thought as much." Eirene said circling them slowly. "Rhodes stones, they are from the great eagle constellation, both come from the star Altar. The star shed but a few shards, shards that the gods thought would serve as perfect guilds for our followers. But until the time is right the followers, which in this case are you two, can't know exactly what we have in store for you. All we are allowed to tell us that they sever as a key, a key to a door locked away for thousands of years. It is your job to find this door and insure that you and you alone see what is hidden behind it." The woman said as she slowly started to disappear from view. "I have left with you a map, guard it well my childern." She said before she was gone completely. July gasped in pain as he grabbed his head. Images flashed before his eyes, all of which were a blur save for one, a map that led them to a single red X. He fell to the ground gasping.

She was riding on Midnight, thirsty and starving, and nearly at the end of her consciousness. She spotted a town in the distance, but when she got there she slid off her horse, unconscious.

The images cut out leaving July panting on the ground. He closed his eyes slowly before getting up again, his knees shaking. "I-i think she left me the map." He said finding it hard to find words. His head was spinning and beginning to hurt as well but he said nothing of it. "Let's get camp set up, I don't think I'm up to leaving at the moment." July said standing up a bit straighter. A figure was walking towards them, he could see it past the darkness. "What is it now..." He growled drawing his gun. "I hope you have a hell of a reason to be out here tonight." He warned but the figure didn't answer back. "I'm warning you, state your business now or I'll shoot you where you stand." But again the figure seemed to not hear. July sighed and pointed his gun at them just as they fell from their horse. Now he was confused. "I didn't even shoot them yet and their still fallen over like I did." He shook his head and put the gun away. "What do you think we should do with them? We can't just leave them here for the vultures."

She wheezed, and, in her half-conscious state, started speaking, "Thirsty, hungry," then she started mumbling nonsense.

Pepper went over to the person who had fallen. She kneeled down and listened to them murmur. "They're dehydrated and hungry" She announced "don't quite know what to do with em since we got none of that are selves." She said now worried about July and this mysterious person

What could they do? "New plan. Let's get her to town, I inow its night but we have to try." He said looking at her horse. "The horse should make it but it will need to rest afterwards if it doesn't die on the way." He said bending and picking the girl up. He slid her into the saddle. "We need atleast one more horse..." He muttered looking around. He whistled though neither of the horses came. "Lord I hope their alright..." He sighed looking around. Out of the darkness though came the two horses happily trotting towards them. "There you are! Camel I was worried sick!" He pegged the horse before putting the girl in his horse. "We'll led the horse into town, alright? There we can get the girl help too."
