Maybe for those certain species like Puffadore and Zolnixi they wouldn't create a new species but like a bit of a pokemon breeding thing....You know like a female Zolnixi and male Puffadore create a Zolnixi baby with a trait/mutation of the Puffadore father?

Still it is a lot of work and redrawing but I still think its a cool idea...also the thing about crossbreeding species that make no sense and getting something new, its like the Griffi, its kind of a gryphon/hippogryph hybrid so a Qitari and Nytkrie maybe XD? Or the Kelpari being a sort of Qitari/Sylvorpa mix. Anyway kind of off track there...I think if cross breeding created a completely different species it could MAYBE work with mythical creatures because a lot of them are a mix of a few animals. Still I think the trait/mutation breeding with a similar way it works in pokemon could be kind of cool.

I have seen this pop up a few tiems, and have heosntly never agreed with it. It would take a LOT of back end work (coding, art, etc) and tbh I don't persoanlyl think it is a feature that is needed. The addmin are always hsotign higns like mut/gene designs where you could simply submit a trait you like on an existing species and they choose the ideas they think woudl suit th species best.

And in regards tos oemone's pokeon-like suggestion, imo tht would be a bit game breakign. If you could breed any pet with any pet and get a baby of one of the parents' species, that defeats the prupose of colelctign multple of one species. It would make breeding too easy. There is alreada huge overpopulation issue and easier breeding would mean it would only get worse.

I also dont like the idea f species all sharign the same trait. I like the variety of different traits o the different species. Of course, there are soem I think would be awesome on a different species, but if every species had all or most fo the same traits, it would be boring and lackluster. The variety in different species gives mroe reason to colelct multiple species. Do I wish for Royalty on nixis to be available for puffs? Heck yes. Is it soemthign that ruisn the game for me? Nope. Puffs have puff traits, nixis have nixi traits. And the few traits that are spread across all species (atm jus tleaf veins, vletines lace,a nd lucky dust i believe) imo are inda lackluster compared tot hose that only belogn to one species, and i thikt hats ebcause there is more finding a design that fits everythign than finding a design that fits the species itself. What looks good on a ixi wont always look good on a kelp, for instance, so traits tat are avilable on all species have o eb designed in a way that they don't look completely hideous on any one of the species.

Lostwords13 has a point there, I didn't think of that. It would make collecting one species kind of pointless if they could breed with many others. Thanks didn't think about that.

My opinion on this is its cool, I think its a cool idea but I don't think it will ever happen and is potentially game breaking :/ It's still cool to think about though and art can always be done for fun.

I get the drawing and stuff, but I doubt the new Crossbreeds would be in the generator. It'd be too easy to get them that way and be an easier way for gold which we don't need, it's easy enough as is. There's lots of games that still have updates too and their beta ended a few years ago :3
