"Dulcis" said Dulcis. His voice was rich and creamy. "and this is..." "Somnium" finished Somnium. His voice was sort of dreamy. "Of Swift River. Were you in that team that won the marathon pull last year?" Somnium was clearly passionate about his career. "We were impressed by their co-ordination" Dulcis added. He was also clearly passionate.


(btw dulcis is sweet in latin and somnium is dreams- incase you were wondering where their looks & personalities came from.)

(Cool idea for names and designs) Chinook was surprised, yeah he remembered these boys, they're hard competition. Chinook stood up taller, feeling proud, "Yeah, that was me and my team, thanks." The thought of his team made him fill with sorrow, but was also happy to realize they're be remembered as champions. Changing the subject,Chinook asked, "so what happened to your human? Do he just up and leave?" He wonders about the team too, but doesn't want to pry.

Dulcis goes almost as pale as Somnium. "He... he... he up and left didn't he Somnium?" Dulcis looked at his friend for reasurance. Somnium looked down. "No..." he said quietly. "He needed money for food... so he... he put all our team into a bet... He lost... We.. We.. Got revenge..." Somnium looked down. "Dreams can be nightmares," he said to himself.

Chinook knew a exactly what they meant by 'got revenge' but wasn't judging. A dog has to do what a dog has to do. Chinook thought, his owner would've never put them in a bet would he? It was horrible to think that. A roar sounded behind the Zolnixi pack and Chinook became very alert. "We need to hide, now. We can't fight a giant mutated horriblly hungry Morkko." They can't fly to the top of a building, and Morkko's have really good ears, where can they run too?

"What Morkko?" Dulcis asked.

A huge bear looking thing came around the corner too, spitting with fury. Chinook looked at Dulcis and very seriously answered, "That Morkko."
