As a whole, I really do think Sylestia is superior to most of the other sites I've played so far, there are just a few elements that make it so frustrating I can go for days at a time not wanting to even look at the site. I'm not the rage-quitting type, so while that's a negative thing, I think it actually shows favorably that this site can get me to do that rather than just leaving. LOL

I don't want you to change what makes Sylestia, Sylestia. This site has been a unique experience for me and I love it. It just needs a bit of polishing, is all. c:

In all honesty, if the generator was 100% for colors it would make it too easy to have that "Trophy pet" that everyone strives for. I honestly like the changing colors, it keeps you surprised, and gives you more to look forward to as you breed. There will never be a game that satisfies everyone, and changing the game to prop up the minority.. just ends up ruining games. So i guess in my honest opinion, if you like it, stay... if it doesn't match up to what you want out of a game, you do always have the option to leave :c. Sorry to add a little rant to this, but it does get rather tiring seeing a good game start up, only to get knocked down by a minority who is loudest.

This is not a "minority" speaking, and I don't see how your personal opinion gives you the right to tell me to leave. There is no such thing as a "trophy" pet here. I'm not asking for ridiculous 8-vis pets or some nonsense like that, so thanks for missing the entire point.

As well, I love the color swing, (As I've stated before in the generator thread) I've got some crazy off the wall pets that have given me beautiful babies. Breeding is a part if the game to get the pet you want. Sure it frustrating but, if you just get the perf pet from the beginning, then what's the point? The swing makes the game unique and brings in more variety to the table. And I think that's what Krin and Fai wanted to do. They wanted the site to be different and so the generator will be different too.

I never worded it to tell you to leave lol, I just said the option is there, is all. What point am I missing then? All i'm hearing is "bah I don't wanna work for the pets I want" He designed the generator to not be perfectly spot-on so as to require you to breed the pets to get the perfect colors/traits you want. It all boils down to this being a game, and like most(if not all) good games, you have to work to acquire the things you want. You can get mad all you want about me, in the end, I'm just telling the truth.

I NEVER said I wanted the color swing removed completely, so can we please stop getting off topic here? At any rate, a solution for this issue is already in the works. It's a moot point.

Rethe, you completely missed the entire dialogue about this site not supporting a variety of playing styles. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with the instant gratification you are, again, insinuating I'm begging for. Stop.

Well, words can be confused and misunderstood. Things like this can make people think you want the generator to change completely.

We've had the Exceptional RGB dye for a good long while now... and he has already toned down the swing due to people complaining anyways. Could you clarify what you mean by "play styles"? because im not quite sure what you mean by that.

They're only misunderstood when you're making assumptions that have nothing to do about what I SAID.

Could this thread be locked to avoid pointless arguments? I know it's not my thread, but the purpose has already been served and they're apparently trying to pick a fight for no reason.

Edit: Different playing styles are self-explanatory. This game was not created with the intention of forcing everyone to play it the same way. Krin said that himself. If you don't understand what I mean, I don't know what else to tell you. Maybe try looking at the different ways people go about their business on different sites.

So asking a question=fighting? gotcha. Geez, grow up please.
