Steve looks down holding the blooded rag in his left his hand. "I want to join the Garrison regiment but I'm not sure if I want to join them or the survey corps." He says honest. "I'm starting to think I'm not made for the army."

Greg smiles. "If you do join the survey corps then I will protect you friend." The boy offers. "I'll make sure no Titan munches on you."

"I'll protect you too, if you join the survey corps. The three of us could fight together!" Caelan said, grinning again at the two boys.

"I admire those who do," Max said, turning to look at Steve, Greg, and Caelan. "I heard those three are considering it. "No way I'm joining. The survey is impractical. Better to defend than attack," Alex said. He only insulted the survey because he was jealous of the courage that those who joined had.

Steve smiles. "You would really do that for me? How could I ever repay you?"

Greg smiles as well. "Just don't die that's how you can repay us." He puts a hand on the smaller boys shoulders. "And promise to never forget us."

Caelan nodded. "If anybody's going to survive, it'll be you. I promise!" she says, her voice taking on a serious undertone even though she still had a wide smile on her face. She put a hand on Steve's head. "You'll see!" she says, giving him the thumbs up with her other hand.

Steve smiles. "Then I will join the Survey corps, if you insist."

Greg smiles looking at the younger boy. "That's the spirit! I can't wait to get started as a soldier!"

"Those titans will regret crossing paths with us!" Caelan says as she reaches up to adjust her cap. "I hope we get to use the actual gear soon!" she says excitedly.

Greg gulps. "What if I fail again?" He says a bit worried.

Greg smiles wider. "Well then we will be there to help you! That's what friends do."

(Want to have the two titans accidentally change?)

"Exactly! Besides, you didn't fail this time. After all, you did do it. It just took you a few tries. I wouldn't call that failing," Caelan added, grinning from ear-to-ear.

Alex sighed, staring off into the distance as he thought about both his own future and Max's.

Max punched Alex lightly on the shoulder. "C'mon, lighten up!" he said, trying to get his brother to smile. He didn't get a response though, so he turned to follow Alex's gaze.

(*rubs hands together evilly* Yes!)

Steve looks up smiling. "Thanks, I owe you both one." He says a bit shyly.

Greg smiles more. "You don't owe us a bit little buddy!"

(Maybe a bit later, so they have a reason to transform. Like their friends are getting attacked or something.)

Caelan laughs loudly. "You are officially debt-free! You don't owe us a thing," she says, grinning at Steve. "Now, whad'ya two say we go and get something to eat?" she asks, pointing towards the barracks.

Alex sighs, shaking his head to clear his thoughts. "Sorry, I'm just tired," he says. Max nods. "It's fine. I'm tired as well," he says.
