Joel shakes his head. "It hurts when I move it ma'am." He says before looking down the hall. "I hope he is ok."

The nurses move the guy to the operating table, cutting his shirt open. "We need a doctor in here!"

Katherine tenses a bit at his last words. "Are doctors will do the best they can," she says with a quick fake smile. "Moving which way does it hurt," she asks watching him in the chair waiting for an answer.

Joel rotates his shoulder wincing. "Both ways." He says looking outside again.

The nurses cut the mans shirt off to revile cuts. "Thank god, there's no internal bleeding." One says as she pours acohol on the cuts.

Katherine looks at his shoulder once more, gently touching in one spot. "You seem to have slightly tour a muscle in your arm, you will have to rest in for a few days." she says waiting for him to turn back around.

A doctor rushes in as the nurse finishes with disinfecting the cuts and gashes. He began stitching the deep gashes and covering the smaller ones in gauze bandages.

"Sir?" Katherine says to get his attention again, her voice soft and quiet.

Joel looks back at her. "So I'm going to have to take time off? I don't think Nancy will like that..." He says still worried.

The nurse steps away, watching as the doctor finishes. "Want me to move him to a room?" She asks.

Leon, the man on the table, begin to come to not able to think straight at first.

Katherine sighs "I'm afraid so sir if its something you have to lift heavy materials for or use it a lot." She walks back over to her computer typing the rest of his report in the file.

"Yes, move him to another room, in case we need this room for other serious patients." the doctor says beginning to walk out of the room. "Dr. Reed will take it from here." he says leaving the room.

Joel stands. "Alright then, I'll take your word for it." He sighs. He looks around for a moment. "Do you guys have any clue what's happened to all these people?"

The nurse nods putting the guy back on the stretcher and wheeling him to one of the rooms. "Here we are sweetheart, the doctor will be here shortly to put you on meds..." She says leaving.

Leon closes his eyes again, not understanding her words

Caroline yawned and strolled into the hospital, grumbling how she didn't sleep too much the night before.
"Say, today seems a little slow, doesn't it? She smirked. "Man, I really want some blood on my hands today." Sighing, she eyed a nurse rolling a man on a stretcher along the hall. "Hey woman!" Trailing the nurse she asked, "Who's this fella? Anything I can do? I'm bored as hell and I need something to do."

Katherine doesn't look at him "it must be some type of virus going around." She says with a blank stare at the computer.

A nurse opens the door and spoke to Katherine "Dr. Reed we need you in room 36." she says before shutting the door.

Katherine nods and stands and fills a small pill bottle with five pain pills. "Take one if you feel any mild pain," she says handing him the bottle with a real smile, happy she could actually help someone. "If you check with the nurse at the front desk your ready to leave." She says with a smile and begins to walk towards the door to go to the room 36.
