That group of Sylesti's was something that made Ethereal's skin crawl. She hated that batch of Human bred, domestic, dummies. The old Ryori began to pace, thinking about her next step. "Let's get back to the others, and figure out our plan of attack against these 'Pets'" She almost spat out the words they felt that wrong to her.

Although he disliked the fighting, Tiger nodded along with her, getting up so that the two of them could walk back to their home base. He could tell that Ethereal was angry, and he feared it may cloud her judgement, but he dared not say so. "Yes. Though...I fear if we kill one of theirs in retaliation, they may kill another of ours..."

Swift had been quite shocked by the whole ordeal. As one of the less experienced members he often had babysit duties. He knew the poor hatchling.
The news had shaken him and made him insecure about what to do next. On one hand, he wanted to comfort the mother, focus on other hatchlings, stay positive. But on the other hand he was feeling to depressed to try.
None the less he refused to just sit in a corner and mope. This war was bad, and pointless. Swift quickly learned the other street sylesties believed it was a tamed sylestie who had done it...but Swift did not feel comfortable just asuming such.
And even if it was, could they really be sure all tamed had something to with it? Swift rememberd his life with his human. It was wonderfull, and not in a thousend years would he even consider killing a street hatchling. Why, he wasn't even aware of this whole war untill she died..
This whole situation was so complicated. he wanted to help, he really did. But how could he? When he didn't share the same conviction the other streets seem to have.last thing he wanted was to upset the others even more.
Swift walked around their territory for a bit, never straying to far. Losy in thoughts, untill he stumbeld acros his leader and Tiger talking, about that very incident...
He probably should leave. Such a young Zolnixi as himself, as well as his background as a tamed probably did not make him a good third party to discuss this with..it wasn't his place.
Carefully he tried to walk backwards, in hopes to avoid disturbing his superiors and seniors.

The young Zolnixi didn't escape Tiger's view, and he flicked his short tail once and called, "Swift, if you would come here for a moment, please?" He was the one usually in charge of the babysitting duties, so it was likely that he knew the poor young pup who'd been killed, making him an important witness of sorts. He needed to be talked to, since Roxy was out of the question for the moment.
When they got closer, Tiger said, "Swift, do you remember the exact time that the hatchling went missing? We need to determine an approximate time of death. I am planning on, if Ethereal agrees, asking some of the less...aggressive tamed Sylestis if they knew anything about the pup's death."

Swift wasn't to thrilled about being called foreward, but knew he could not just ignore the call. He walked over with his head held low before sitting down in front of the others.
''The day...it happend, he was only onder my care for a short while. His mom picked him up so he didn't go missing at that time...I knew him though.''
Swift was ahving trouble keeping his voice steady. the memory of his little friend was still fresh, which made the topic of this conversation all the more depressing.
After regaining some composure he went on.
''He was an adventerous kinda boy, would sneak out when he could. i know he deliverd his mother all kinds of stress with his little adventures..It is likely he sneaked out when his mom was busy, looking for an adventure..''
The poor hatchling.
Swift's eyes landed on the ground, while he tried his best not to moisten them up.

She pondered his opposition to a raid upon them, when Ethereal's gaze flicked instantly to the movement their, more newer of allies, made as he tried to back from their view.
"I understand what you're getting at Tiger." She replied in a hushed tone before he called him over.
"I agree, it sounds more than reasonable to eliminate that possibility. I do not wish to jump to conclusions but I'd rather gather info on the youngsters untimely death." She bowed her head feeling the grief wash through her once again.

Galaxia stepped onto the street from her broken-down alley. Another day of foraging for food. She sighed. Ever since the battle began, it was harder to go anywhere without coming back unscathed. Not sky, land, or sea could stop the battles that waged in Tourmaline, but Galaxia preferred to stay out of it. The war had gotten harsher in the past month, but humans seemed not to notice. Galaxia longed for the fresh feel of the forest, but it was so hard to get in and out of Tourmaline that she rarely went anymore. And it took a few days, that which she didn't have. And she had felt herself heavier, against all odds. Flying long distances was undoubtedly out of the question. Carefully, Galaxia flapped her wings, to begin her scavenge for food.

At Swift's order of events, Tiger nodded understandingly, moving to rest a gentle paw against Swift's shoulder as he noticed his eyes fill with tears, his own eyes softening. "I know this is hard for you, Swift. It has been hard for all of us, but I have a task for you." He paused, motioning with his head over to where Flower, a female Zolnixi, was gathering some sweet-smelling plants and herbs for the burial. "I want you to accompany Flower to the burial site. Bring some more of the more powerful Sylestis with you, as well. We don't want anyone getting hurt while the burial is happening."
[I'm gonna post some forms for some Sylestis on the main thread so that we have more of a variety, including Flower's form]

Swift nodded. He would help however he could, he had wanted to before. He walke over to the girl nixi, and helped picking up some flowers. For occasions as this, you almost couldn't have enough flowers. Though, the boy who passe away would probably snort at the flowery stuff. Maybe he should but some sticks there too, just because he loved playing with them.
The younger nixi was a bit worried however when he was told earlyer to tale stronger nixi's with him. It always made him nerveus when there was chance of attack, he was no warrior after all.
Still, he would do as asked and try his best.

[ Skysong Ancient, Miyuki ]
News spread fast within the group, and it wasn't long before Skysong had heard of the death of Roxy's son from Miyuki. "Those troublesome tames!" He growled, as his tailed flicked in annoyance. "Can't they just give us a break?" A sigh escaped him as he rested his head between his paws, calculating eyes landing on the nephini beside him. How much could he trust her on this news? "Humph. I wouldn't be surprised if this piece of information was fabricated."
"Don't you trust me? Oh, you wound me, Skysong." There was that sickly sweet voice of hers once again, and it was only Skysong's hiss in response that gave away the frustration he felt. "Dear me, it seems that I am unwanted here. But, if you must, consult one of the other members. You'll see that for this, I do not lie." With a chilling laugh, the icy nephini took off into the sky, leaving the zolnixi to his own thoughts.

[ Floralys, Cocoa Sweet, Kaseki, Celestial ]
"Floralys! C'mon!" The high-pitch yell of Cocoa filled the house at which the four had gathered, and sounds of crashing soon followed as the puffadore came tumbling down the stairs followed by an aeridini.
"Cocoa! Watch out for that -" Her warning came too late as Cocoa slammed into the wall, causing a bucket of water to fall on his head. In immediate reaction, laughter echoed through the room as the sole ryori celebrated the success of his prank.
"H-hey! Who turned out the lights?" The puffadore shouted as he ran in circles, as Floralys chased him in an attempt to pull the bucket off.
"Stay still you idiot!" Came the command from the aeridini, though it fell on deaf ears. In response, a quiet chuckle fell from their leader's lips, who was watching the entire scene play out with amusement.
It took Kaseki, Floralys and Celestial a good ten minutes to pin Cocoa and remove the bucket from his head.
