Yes I have been on here a long time but I wasn't here for every festival and sometimes I'd have to take months off due to personal life. This is also the first festival that I've been a part of that has this battle/nurture competition.

@Aniseed - So because it was preventable, you think he has no right to be upset or angry at the situation? He was hoping, that they'd find new, nice and permanent homes with users who don't have a lot. Not bought and released. And it's not even the festival either. I've had a lot of my pets, beautiful designs you'd want to breed to get even more, bought in the past by one person, then released right after. Like there's a wait to breed females agin, I think there should be a wait to release a pet after buying. Especially during festivals.

I did not say that, and I do not appreciate you putting words in my mouth.

What I said, and I will bold this so that it is clear, is that while the practice of nurture and release is shady as heck, we were informed well in advance that there was a festival with a nurture contest coming.

I am sorry, metalwolfgemstone, that your Puffs got released, but I am not sure this is something the dev team can or should address.

EDIT: Huh. My apologies on that point, then - I just saw your join date, and assumed (you know what they say about assuming). In that case, you MAY be able to get Krin to restore them? It's worth a shot at least.

No, I don't want them returned. I only made this forum to get out my frustration. And yeah, I missed every fest last year between work and college classes. Sometimes I couldn't get on Sylestia for a whole month or two. It's difficult to try and check everyday and put time into time-required fests when I have a job or an essay due. All that I know is that I'm not putting anymore eggs/hatchlngs up for sale until the fest is completely over with.

:C That's probably the best idea, given the circumstances.

If you want, I can probably get a few people (including myself) to donate a few puffs to continue the puff drive?

No, I'm okay but thank you for the offer, Ani. =3 I'll just wait till the fest is over before breeding again, or to at least sell my hatchlings.

Well, I was participating in both nurture wars. I don't nurture and release hatchlings or egglings. Back to my main point though, the contest ended after the first week I think. Then they took 12-36 hours off and started it up again. So I think that even if you don't personally partake of it, that you should check the contest, not for the score of course, but for the time it should end and keep checking a day or so after it ends to make sure they haven't started another one before you sell the offspring. That is, if they add it to the next fest.
