Arthur snorted his ears going back at the dark ones scream. He frowned and shook his head of the flies that bothered him. He circled around the heard his eyes watching the dark one.

He was wary but unafraid of the horse. After all that is what he is a horse. Any horse can die some are just hardier than others. He saw the glances between him and Bones. It shall be an interesting fight to be sure. One sided perhaps however One is strong and the other has part of the herd at his back.

Arthur sets down rolling over to cover himself in dust. The thin layer cooling his dark hide.

Grane looked at the other horses then the black stallion. She rolled her eyes as another horse reared up at the black stallion. In her mind she figured that the ones that need to care for the herd had to drive the black stallion together as a group.

Willow freezes in fear as the Back Stallion rears up screaming. She looks at the herd most had the same reaction as her.

Cinder stands, shaking the dust from his coat as the Dark Stallion screams..

Raven glares at the Dark Stallion, she hated him and for good reason. She wanted to scream back at him in anger but knew it was a bad idea. Raven stomps her hoof and snorts angrily towards the stallion before turning and walking over near the shade trying to cool off. It was too hot, especially for her with her dark coat.

Zigzag rares up at the dark stallion, copying his haunting call. 'Two can play this game..' the youg blue roan thinks to himself. As foal of the leader before, and the white mare he had always had a spot as leader of the herd, but secretly he had no desire to be the one in charge. Again his mother's words played in his mind, this time for the worst. The Dark Stallion was on him before he knew it, knocking him to the ground feet stomping. Zigzag kicked his feet hoping to get the stallion to stop.

The Dark Stallion took no trouble from his herd, all that had to be beaten from the horses as foals or they would rebel. The young male they called Zigzag had shown this time that he had never been beaten for the trouble he caused, thus the stallion took the matter into his own hooves. He stomped at the colt, making dust fly as well as hair. Once zigzag stopped fighting the stallion stopped, snorting his distaste. "Let this be a lesson Foal, never mock me..." the larger male growls before moving back to his rock.

Bones watched as his brother was beaten into the ground, the stallion taking a disliking to his disrespectful ways. There was nothing any of them could do, save for rebel with Zigzag. Bones rares up, mocking the stallion's call much like his brother had. The Dark Stallion's eye grew darker, he turned to face the new rebellion. Bones faced The Dark Stallion as he charged, the two engaged in a stallion type fight.

Willow lowers her head as he teaches the other foal a lesson. She hated when he punished them like that.

Cinder huffs in a agreement with Willow, though he couldn't do anything about what had happened.

Raven turns to see what happened. She quickly runs between the other juvenile and the Dark Stallion. Raven rears up screaming at the Dark Stallion. She stomps her feet going into a defensive stance, snorting at him in anger. Raven's blue eyes staring straight into the Dark Stallion's, "stop this before you do something you'll regret."

Arthur watched as the tension grew between them. The fight had been interesting til the dark mare Raven had stepped in. He pursed his lips in thought before standing.

"Little will be accomplished without a fight here and there," Arthur spoke approaching calmly. "However such things leave one hot and hungry perhaps it is unwise in the current conditions."

He gave little room for protest as he stood beside the Dark Stallion. "Come now Dark one. They may mock but to show them it gets to you just makes them do it more," He said softly in his ear. "Authority must be earned. Lead the herd to food and water but refuse them any. It will show your power and leadership in one swift move."

Arthur backed away giving his head a shake. He said all he wanted to say and trotted off for the rocks shade.

The Dark stallion bites Aurther's ear, yanking it. "I do not take orders from a mere Foal!" the stallion shouts. He charges the Female horse, turning last second to kick her with his scared back legs.

zigzag gets to his feet slowly, his body covered in cuts from the stallion's hooves. "Dont just stand there! Help them!" He shouts, himself joining the fight. He manages to kick The large jet black stallion in the side, a move that only angered the horse more.

Arthur snorted nursing his sore ear by keeping it down. He tried diplomacy and wasn't one for direct conflict. Letting out a sigh he remained on the sidelines.

"Aim for the legs," he said silently cheering them on. "He'll be able to do little if he can't stand."

He remains near the terrified females. "Honestly they might as well be related. They all seem so thick skulled," he said under his breath as he watched events play out.

Willow joins in the fight, biting at the stallion, Cinder following to try to bite or kick at the legs.

Raven snorts angrily as she runs at the stallion hitting him hard. She kicks at him angrily, putting all of her strength into it. Her shoulder bleeding from the stallions kick as she fought the stallion."Why don't you shut your mouth and help..." Raven says angrily to Arthur as she fought.

Arthur rolled his eyes.

"I am not one for fighting myself," he called back to Raven. "Good luck though."

The dark one was out numbered. No doubt he would fall eventually. Best to hold back and jump in once they are all tired to finish the fiend off. He turned around and laid in the shade watching with half interest.
