I thought I would go for a just a fun spirited avatar design. I added some winded for some free and wild added touch. The colors I tried to make fun, but contrasting so they could add some fun pop to the avatar. Hope you like it. XD

Contest 1~

Here is my entry! I chose very bright and happy colours, with lots of balloons and confetti and cake for celebration! :D The banner says Happy Anniversary, but we can celebrate anything in that outfit!

Contest 2~

"Desirable Dream Griffi"
Haha that sounds pretty cheesy, but whatever ^-^. First of all, I chose a Griffi because to me, they seem very admirable, ambitious, and hard working to achieve their goals. I chose the mutation Horse tail because (Like I just mentioned) horses are also hard working animals, who strive to complete their every task. I liked the sound of "Chained Jewelry" Because achieving your dreams can be very hard some times, and you can feel like you are chained down. That, and I just really like the mutation ^-^

As much as I love reading poetry, I am horrible at writing it ^-^ So good luck to all of you who entered the Poetry contest! :D

Contest 1: Celebration

There are holidays, accomplishments, and events we can celebrate, but any celebration of anything includes the impulse to get together with everybody else who's celebrating the same thing. In other words (open link in new tab)--

I chose to do the Nytekrie species becase they are one of the less favored species. Since the word 'aspiration' means hope, I chose to go for a sunrise theme. I chose to do that because no matter what you can still count on the sunrise, and the world will keep spinning no matter what happens in our everyday lives.
The name I decided on was "Eternal Sunrise" and the traits I used were M3: Stardust and G2: Bearded Vulture.

Another
Year full of memories
And priceless moments.

When I reminisce, I find that I enjoy every event of the past that there is, even the bad ones that I don't want to remember. Every moment possibly influenced the settings and people around me to how they are now. I appreciate the fact that there were so many keypoint fragments of moments that accumulated to what I am now.

Contest 2 (pet - aspiration)



Hopeful Child
a.k.a. Hopeful Lighira

I liked the pet art of the female lighira hatchling, partly because I was inspired by her reaching upwards, as if she were reaching for the stars (figuratively aha).
I can relate to aspiration, in the way that people with little to nothing aspire to something more, or people with a negative mess aspire to get out of their chaos, or for me, someone of average background trying to be something exceptional. Aspiration is the beginning of a journey from one state, an old or empty state, to a new or better one.
This fits the growth of a rather average, natural-looking lighira, maybe with some dirty marks that aren't fitting. But she'll one day grow, and her dirty marks and average looks will be a thing of her past; she'll later have a beautiful accent that compliments her, maybe even have a stunning mutation.

Contest 1 (avatar - celebration)



I thought of celebrating promotion, in a fantasy setting aha. Imagine after years worth of being a lackey, an errand boy, a mere knight with the lowest of jobs and being at the bottom of the chain, a grown man is now made the captain of his kingdom's finest knights.
It's worth celebrating about -- both overcoming the hardships of dealing with low level missions that no one really likes and now coming into a position of power that's well worth the wait and toil. Becoming an authority for something you care about would make anyone smile with confidence.

This poem is about my grandfather who died last year. When I think of him I think of his hugs and his rough and stern voice. This poem is what I wish I could say to my grandfather today as I had watched him die.
