I know this is really old. We helped my cousin not too long ago with oozing patches of eczema on her stomach though. She stayed with us for 3 days and it was almost healed by the time she left. So if you are still having troubles or if anyone else sees this I figured I would post.

What we did for my cousin is we put her in a lukewarm bath with a cup of Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar with the "mother". You can look up all the benefits ACV has. It works as an astringent as well on top of all of the other benefits to help with the weeping. After she got out of the bath we would slather her tums with plain old Coconut Oil. It is better than any lotion I have ever tried! I know you mentioned being allergic to hydro-cortisone liquid. If you can use the cream or have some other anti itch thing you can use it can be applied mixed with the Coconut Oil.

SUPER easy. She took I think 2 baths and we just slathered her with the oil anytime it started being a little itchy. If it works for you then you can also get some beeswax and make a lotion (because carrying oil around is messy!) I have made myself a lotion out of Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and Olive Oil that has replaced all of my other lotions. Then you could take it with you.
