I like the idea for if it is a rare item like stated by others before me. A small note that the name should be changed though as it will be confused as the opposite of the filter of infertility. aha

The point of the breeding is to wait and make you work for the pets you want. Even if it was expensive, those that are rich enough could potentially zoom past everyone else just because they have more money.

There is no reason that a pet should have to be born right away. Three days is not that long to wait (just a bit longer for fabled). All you need is a bit of patience plus the wait makes the end result all that much more rewarding.

Beyond that, it would be game breaking because it would pretty much destroy the coding. Krin has pointed this out on many occasions.
