Resa noticed a discarded old padlock and attached it to the gate. "Well then I guess you'll have to find something else to occupy your time, Mr. Tormar." She made a small motion with her finger that was barely noticeable and Charisma floated to the top of the gate and sat, watching Tormar and Thunder carefully.
Resa turned, headed toward the large roller door of the warehouse and lifted it. She shot Tormar one last look. "Good day." she said before closing herself and Courage inside.
Upon entering she noticed the dim lights were already turned on. Something crashed from deep within the many stacks and isles of boxes. Resa drew her rapier and Courage let out a tiny growl and they pushed through the clutter, toward the sound.
"This is the police!" Resa announced. She didn't have to say it loudly, it echoed clearly throughout the whole building. "You are trespassing, surrender yourself or I'll have no choice but to send my... ferocious... sylestie after you."
Another crash and the sound of rapid footsteps sent Courage into a barking frenzy and he took off in it's direction, instantly disappearing from sight. ~Dang it, Courage.~ Resa scolded him in her mind before charging after him.

Julius had heard the commotion and immediately his interest was peaked, but instead of running to see what it was like most people, he ran to his house to grab his computer. He was much smarter than the 'commoners' (or so he called them) out on the street. He knew he wouldn't see much with all the police, but he had something just as good. He quickly started typing code on the computer and smiled as he had hacked into all the cameras around the block as well as within the buildings. He could now see all that was going on. He watched intently controlling the cameras from his computer.

(School start's agin tomorrow . . . won't be able to be on as often as I have been)
Tormar was about to reply when Resa ran off after Courage, shouting at the Lupora to stop running and come back. He turned to Thunder, "'Find something to do', eh? Looks like I've just found it." By now the Ryori, Chari-something-or-other, had followed Resa, leaving Tormar and Thunder standing alone in front of the now locked warehouse. "Well pal?" Tormar asked, grinning, "What do you say we go find out what's going on in Esior?"

Resa weaved her way through the boxes, guided only by the sound of someone running in front of her. She heard Charisma growl from somewhere to her right, she must have come inside when she heard the commotion. Courage barked in the distance, it sounded like he was chasing someone too. Was there more than one person? She rounded a corner and came to a straight stretch, the boxes being packed too tightly to exit from anywhere but the far end. The lights here weren't working but she could make out a humanoid figure dashing down the isle. A quick flick of the finger and Charisma shot through to the end and blocked the only exit, causing the them to stop in their tracks. Resa quickened her pace to catch up with the figure and pointed her rapier at their back.
"Turn around!" she ordered. "Slowly!"

Tormar cautiously moved closer to Resa and the mysterious person, breathing heavily. Thunder had flown up to the roof of the library, forcing Tormar to walk when the Griffi refused to come down. A hand thoughtlessly moved to a dagger hidden in his coat, ready to . . . Tormar wasn't sure what he was ready to do. But he was prepared. And following the scout motto had saved his life more times than he cared to remember. Well, that and his secret weapon . . .

Resa shot Tormar an angry look as he approached but kept her sword pointed at the figure. It shivered as it turned around and spoke in a shaky voice.
"P-please. H-help."
Charisma let out a sad sound and stepped forward, her body light illuminating the figure. It was a faerie! She hadn't noticed because his wings seemed to be badly torn, there was almost nothing left of them and the rest of him was covered in deep cuts and bruises.
Resa lowered her rapier. "Who are you? What happened?" she asked.
(I have no idea where I'm going with this so feel free to help)

Tormar released his grip on the dagger, shrugging when he noticed Resa glaring at him. He took a step forward, out of the shadows. "What happened to you . . .?" he asked, carefully running his fingers over the delicate surface of the faerie's wing. The faerie said nothing, still shivering from fear. Thunder flew down into the small alley, barely not blocking the exit.
Tormar quickly inspected the faerie, noting the size and shape of the scratches on her skin and the tears in the fabric of her clothes. "I don't recognize any signs of a sylesti attack. She might have been ambushed by Myconids or Vorkids, although both haven't been very active since their leaders died." Tormar turned to Resa, "Would the police have anything in their records that could identify who- or whatever caused this?"

"No need." Resa replied, "I recognize these marks, they were made by a glaive-guisarme." She inspected the wounds closer. "These are really fresh, when did this happen?"
"Just now." The faerie replied. A pained yelp echoed throughout the warehouse that made the blood drain from Resa's face. Courage had been chasing after someone else. Without thinking she darted off in the direction of the sound.

(lol i thought the mystery rp would have more of a mystery to it like a who-done-it type thing. Which is why we have investigators and stuff lol. Maybe there is someone behind the creature attack, and they will have to work together to find out who)
Julius quickly hacked into the mainframe of the cameras as he listened to the two talk through the warehouse cameras. He frowned and seemed to hesitate watching as he picked up the attack on one of the cameras. It was gruesome and it was so quick the camera only picked up part of it as it had pivoted back and forth during its usual cycle. Now he was in control of all of them and could do as he pleased. He wouldn't be missing anything unless it was in a blind spot and there were a few. While watching he also pulled up the other cameras to see where the beast may have gone but it seemed to have been lost between camera three and four of the warehouse and he had yet to find it again in order to retrace its steps. But he still had a bit of searching to do. He quickly put on his glasses and began at it again.

( Indeed. I am thinking that the mystery you seem to be possibly building up for will tie in nicely with Matt`s. Sorry For not having been on. This holiday season has been pretty rough on me. Had a cold on Christmas and then a toothache, then I wake up this morning with a stomach flu. I am hoping things get better when I go into the dentist to get my stupid tooth fixed. Anywho I Will try to post at least once a day.)
Matt leaned forward his elbows resting on his desk as he listened to his clients tale. "My name is Madame Alexandria Grace. I am a top competitor in Sylesti Human beauty pageants. I also come from a well bred family. Some of whom could be called rivals. I was recently nominated for Miss Viridian. With my Nephini, Adrianna, I was set to win. However last night someone stole my beloved sylesti. Our security systems had been knocked out so we had no images on our cameras to identify the culprit. If some of my rival relatives were to find out they could make it very difficult for me, so I want this solved as quietly as possible." Matt sat back regarding his client. While still somewhat pompus in manner she had presented herself well. Matt nodded at last. " The sylestis you train for the pageants...are they strong? I mean what is their battle potential?" His client blinked, "Oh quite high, while we don't fight they are trained to use certain moves to enhance the beauty of the performance.". Matt rubbed his chin. "Not many people battle anymore but some people still steal sylesties in order to use them in underground fighting rings, so its a fairly standard question. That is one possibility, the other is that someone known to you committed the act. I'll need a list of your rivals and anyone else who had access to your sylesti" Madame Grace nodded as she began giving him the details. Matt wrote them all down on his notepad.
