Coal Blue stared out at the rows and rows of caged Sylesti. Hunger gnawed at her stomach and she was covered in bruises, but her pride was wounded the most. She realized how stupid she had been last night. She had completely lost her head. Now she was angry at herself as well as the humans. Well, It's no use sulking. She stared across the cages, trying to make eye contact with someone, anyone. Finally, her eyes met a sylpora's. It's splash wings were drying out and it looked in just as bad shape as Coal Blue was. "Hello?" called Coal Blue, her voice barely carrying across the row to the sylpora. Her stomach rumbled again. Food, and water. Oh, I wish I had some.
Kahju lay down. He could barely breathe and he wondered how the griffi across from him had been able to bang against the bars. His feathers were slowly falling out and he desperately wanted to get out. He was starving as well. He would just have to wait longer. How much longer will I have to wait?

Arabia got up, despite the pain, drowsiness, and hunger he was feeling. He groaned again. He tried to stretch in what little room they had. Surely they wouldn't let the sylesties starve or die of dehydration?

Ayella let out a sigh. Having tried to make herself somewhat more comfortable, she was now lying on the bottom of her cage, not bothering with anything that happened around her. That was, until she herd a calling close by. She lifted her head, trying to make out who had spoken to her. It took her a while to notice the Griffi staring at her. She smiled to her. "Hi" she managed to get out of her troat. Not like she was going to talk much, but still she was happy someone cared enough. Not like the humans, but it was something, good to know someone noticed you even when you were dying. At least she thought she was. Slowly.
War fought against his hunger, stomach rumbling and making small noices. The nixi had just enough space to sit upright and it seemed to him that despite the hunger, he was one of the more healthy Sylesties around here. Of course, in some cases, it seemed only a matter of time. The Bulbori across seemed even unable to move more than one muscle at the time, groaning in pain. He must have been hit hard then.
Edit: typo

Coal Blue barely heard the sylpora's reply. At least she noticed. Everyone else seems to be in a trance. She wished she could converse with some one, but the effort of talking was just too much,
Kahju heard murmurs beside him as he drifted in and out of consciousness. Even he couldn't wait this long, but it was clear nobody could get out. They needed help and fast.

Suddenly the re was light in the dark room. A large door had opened and flooded the room with light as humans came in. They starting pouring water into dishes that had gone unnoticed by the Sylesti. Of course when Alyce tried the water it tasted gross but it was water. One human tossed water on Ayella surprisingly. Next they starting pouring hard, tasteless pellets into another dish in the cages. Then they left. The doors closed and cut off the light causing the room to go dark many Sylesti panicked and those who didn't forced the food down their throats.

Young Acile woke chained to a tree in a trap. Desperate, she cried out. She squirmed and struggled, to no avail. Exhausted, she gave up. Dang humans.

Arabia tried a pellet. Yuck! Well, at least the captors wouldn't let him starve. He drank some of the musty water and ate some tasteless pellets trying to regain what little strength he could. Finally, he spoke up. "Hello? Is there someone I could talk to?" He asked

Water! Thank goodness. Ayella's wings had felt like rubber, but now she could at least move them again. Well, she had to drink some water too before she would feel really well again, but still. They were fed! Of course, when she tasted it, it did not taste like the clear water from the pond she lived by, and swum in. Had swum in. But at least she'd live. Which strengthened her theory about being sold off to a collector. Well hopefully she could escape before that happened. Or, hopefuly, her new master would take care of her better.
After drinking she managed to move around a little more. She could barely turn around, but she made the whole 360 degrees. That counted for something, enabling her to look around and notice the food. Or what the humans had thought was food, she guessed. It smelled afwul, so she didn't yet care to try. She had drunk the whole water bowl empty, so hunger was not yet a problem.
War threw himself on the food soon as he got it. He was hungry allright? He quickly was reminded of how they were fed, when he noticed the taste of the... things. But it felt better, having eaten something. Even if the taste was bad, it filled him. And others too, he saw. And heard. After the feeding and watering, when everybody had had some, more Sylesties were moving and looking around. He send his spirit flames around, surrounding most of the Sylesties in a green glow. Now at least they could talk to eachother and see them. "Hello everyone," he started. After a while he noticed everybody around him was just saying hello to one another, so he added, "my name's Al'war." He noticed that since his strength was better than his magic abilities, talking and brightening up the place at the same time didn't work very well, as the spirit flames flickered with each sentence. It had a really strange effect in the dark.

"Hello." Nari called, green electric sparks flew out from her cage and soon the lights flickered on. "How is everyone?" A deeper voice asked. "Naru! You said I could ask!" "Shush Nari!" Naru replied. "Lets get this done." 'Hai!" Green electricity formed large orbs and floated towards the nearest wall. Which happened to have covered windows. The orbs exploded as did the walls. Nari managed to shove her way out of the damaged cage and free Naru. Both started freeing sylesti. "GO to the wall but do not leave!" they said as the broke down cage doors.
(Dont question me. This will be edited when i can think better but for right now...)

The brown ny'vene reached Coal Blue's cage broke it open with one swish of it's claw. It had obviously been too hard to do it in the tiny cage. "Thanks!" whispered Coal Blue as she darte toward the door. It felt so good to stretch her muscles and she wanted to run out the room, but the ny'venes seemed to know what they were doing so she skidded to a stop at the door. Some sylesti just kept running, ignoring the ny'venes instructions. The others that waited talked excitedly amongst themselves as they waited for everyone to be freed. A brown lighira with golden wings turned to her. "Ooooo! It feels good to be free doesn't it!" He was obviously not asking a question but Coal Blue answered anyway. "Yes, I hate tight spaces! My name is Coal Blue. What's your's?"
I'm Kajhu", he replied, glad to finally be able to talk to someone. "Those ny'venes were amazing!" He placed his paws in front of him and stuck his tail in the air, stretching. "I can't wait to be able to run again!" exclaimed the griffi. She was black with a blue underbelly. "I'm looking forward to the food. Were those pills even eatable?" Kajhu spat. "At least it was food." She suddenly gasped. "What's wrong?" Kajhu asked.
"Humans over the hill! The humans ran at them yelling.
edit: I said the ny'vene were green.
