Backstory: From where Kuroh and Yashiro came from, there was battles everyday, a war if you will, between two kingdoms. It was during this time that the two brothers grew up, and when both could understand what was happening around them, Kuroh gained an immediate dislike for war.
(This is where I'll try my best to shorten the story)
While his brother hated humans, Yashiro wasn't too deeply affected, since he always wanted to know more ad found out the true reason why the leaders fought - because of a lie. Sure it was a petty thing to him, a fight between leaders consuming their followers as well, and Yashiro grew to dislike humans as well, and vowed to never lie, if the outcome could be so disastrous. It was only when his mother talked to him just before he went to sleep that Yashiro lost his hatred, and tried explaining to Kuroh, but never got the chance, since the next day was when his parents died. In fear, that was when Reshiram reacted to his feelings and revived, rescuing the boy who was only 10. In the following year, Dialga recruited Kuroh, and despite not having Kuroh's ideals, Yashiro wanted to show Kuroh the Truth, which he hand't yet, and since Yashiro wanted to keep his brother safe - it was something he promised his mother, despite being the younger twin - Yashiro joined as well, and they lived under Dialga's care for a couple years, before acting as spies for him as Arcues' agents for another 3 years.

Kuroh gained a dislike for humans seeing all the fighting and comparing them to the pokemon who could live peacefully despite all their differences. He 'broke', if you will, when all his family save Yashiro was killed in front of him, and called out Zekrom from the Dark Stone his parents had given to him just moments before their deaths. Zekrom came out, saved Kuroh while Reshiram saved Yashiro, and it was after that day that the war was called off, since the leaders seeing the two dragons were fearful of them.
Because of what he went through,Kuroh hated the current state of humanity, and vowed to wipe out humans, only allowing those with the 'proper' ideals to live (see why he has Zekrom?) It was then that Dialga met them and Kuroh joined him.

Backstory: (Optional) Saria grew up in Black City, and was always fascinated by the legend of zoroark. When she was 7, she snuck out of the city and into White Forest. That day, as if fate had decided it, she came across a little injured Zorua. She approached it carefully and healed its wounds in the forest, in between dodging attacks from pokemon that had tried to attack zorua in the first place. When the zorua was all healed, she let it back into the forest, but the zorua didn't want to go back, and so it followed her home. They've been partners ever since.

A little riolu saw them and trained with them, from the shelter of the darkness. After they'd finished, it wanted to do more training and followed them home.
