It makes me sad that I have to say this, but this serves as a reminder that cheating is not and never will be tolerated on Sylestia. It became obvious that a handful of players have been cheating on the Tournament of Themed voting by waiting until the last minute to place their votes and always voting for the winning team by either getting the information from someone who has already voted or by using a secondary account.

This is strictly cheating and is strictly against the rules. I shouldn't have to say that. As such, the players suspected of doing this have been removed from the Voting Leaderboard and will not qualify for its prizes. Additionally, appropriate actions have been taken against those players as this is a violation of our Terms of Service.

Starting next year, I will change how the Voting mechanic works to prevent this abuse. However, it is too late this year to make such changes. Therefore, let this serve as a warning for all other players: either play fairly, by the rules, or don't play at all. Our community is better than this and Sylestia will never have any tolerance for such behavior.

Hello, all. Just a quick update on the pending Fortune Event stuff. I know that typically prizes are handed out by now so that everyone has a chance to use them before features go away for the rest of the year (in this case, the Lucky Scratchcard). I was out of town from Saturday to Tuesday to visit family back home, specifically my grandfather who was not doing well. Unfortunately, he passed away this morning.

Suffice to say, I am way behind on all of the end-of-event Fortune Event stuff. I will try and get everything parsed as soon as I can. Do not worry though, I am sure I will extend the closing date of the Lucky Scratchcard so that everyone has enough time to use their rewards. I will probably just end up extending it a full extra week.

The Easter Event will continue as scheduled. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
