(actually, i never thought about this until now, but you dont get a shovel in stardew. a hoe for farming, a watering can for.... watering, a pickaxe for mining rocks, an axe for chopping, and a sythe for cutting weeds. no shovel.)

Kino set down his watering can and rolled up his sleeves as he began to break up the dirt and plow it into neat little rows with just enough space to walk between them and pant on either side.

(your fine! im used to it :D. also, Stardew Valleys farming isnt normally in rows. you just hoe a "tile", add fertilizer if you want, plant, and water. rows arent needed. same for plants on trellises/poles. and fruit trees dont even need the hoeing, you just plant the sapling and wait a while. its neat.)

as he rested, a bunch of cute little birds flew over to look at him.

As he sat he pulled out his sketch book and watched the little birds as he scratched some roughy circles and lines in on the paper until they began to look like birds. He enjoyed watching the birds

Kino watched them do a while more before standing with a stretch wondering if it would be a good idea to check out the surroundings or the rest of the farm as he glanced around

Kino looked back at the birds as they flew away. He ruffled his hair before talking a glance at the beach and deciding to walk the shoreline to see if there was anything interesting there. But first he got his scythe and axe and place the hoe and watering can away. With his Scythe neatly sheathed in his belt and his axe over his shoulder he set out
