Although I know that it can be quite frustrating to have the site down for migrating servers, as well as maintenance in order to get everything running smoothly again, I personally appreciate having a Site Admin/Owner taking such time, as well as a prompt decision to do so. Tis one of the main reasons why I so enjoy taking part in the features of this game site, and why I login time and time again.
That being said; I'm glad to see the site back up again. Now to go play with my pets. *Wanders off to her hatchery and stables.* ^-^/

Couldn't have said it better! I always know that we've got Admins who actually take care of any issues that might come up on Sylestia.

At least I hope so. But, Sod's Law...not Murphy, that's far too simple for computer related issues, yeahhhh. So, I'm still nervous.
What is the difference between Sod's law and Murphy's law?
Sod's law is similar to, but broader than, Murphy's law ... While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome.
What Finagle does is add to this in this way: Finagle's law of dynamic negatives (also known as Melody's law, Sod's Expanded Law or Finagle's corollary to Murphy's law) is usually rendered as "Anything that can go wrong, will, and always at the worst possible moment."
There are too many of these things in pop culture and in wide use for it not to be a common issue for the human condition. Remember the saying goes, 'To err is human, to completely foul things up requires a computer.'
What this all means is that Chaos Law's for Electronics is potentially in effect. Because it now reads as: 'Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong in the worst possible way and at the worst possible moment'
So, yeah. Duck and Cover, brace for impact, etc.

With all this downtime, my brews that were put in 4- 5 days ago(i think i cant tell the days are flowing together right now but i know they were in before downtime happened). If they gain 2% an hour(i think?) with no pokes : 100 \ 2 = 50 hours it takes for an untended brew to reach its end. Perfect brews add on 4% an hour = 25 hours. It is unlikely for a brew to be perfect all the time so it might be an average of 38-48 or so hours for a brew to hit 100% without all the downtime. Thats 2 days at the most, my brews without the downtime would have definitely been done today if not for downtime and instead are at 49% and under. Very annoying for me since i couldnt get on to poke them and now that i can they are so far from being done. anyways im glad the site is back :)
