The misty figure stopped hearing the little bit of a low growl.It turned to him from the other side of the mirror caressing it's hands on the edge. The form had solid white eyes as the only figure on it's face. He heard it giggle, it sounded feminine at the least. Looks like you i finally found you, Amory was it? they asked

Collin sighed, sitting down beside them. "She seemed to be in a hurry. I'm sure she had a good reason," He said, ruffling Evermore's fur. He turned his attention towards Circi. "As for the Duke... that'll be an issue."

Kaladin made sure to move quickly while avoiding attention, and the two arrived at his home with little to no issue. Kal gave Kai a quick scratch behind the ears, then ushered her inside.

"yeah...considering he won't listen to me at all" circi sighed. She pulled aside one of the knotty braids and started rebraiding it. Evermore watched her carefully. "Yeah the duke's going to flip when he hears about starlight"


"just making sure i brought in the right person" the mist remarked.For some reason it felt like it was smiling."Besides i needed to make sure both of you were the right one anyways"

"What has he really even done since arriving, anyhow?" Collin inquired. "I never really got filled in as to why he's here."

"I don't think I've ever seen you before," Amory grunted.

"He hasn't done much since coming but...he's here to make sure this place goes to the right people,and not someone like me" she motioned to herself. "He's Lady Opal's brother in law,so technically he has the rights to claim the inheritance...since yeah" she ended that last part with a sigh.

Collin flicked an ear. "Hm. Where is he from?"

Kai wags her tail happily before following Kaladin inside the hut. Sniffing the air she gently puts the pups down in a safe place.

She seemed to think for a second,"Can't remeber exactly,but i think it's directly south of where Starlight's from actually" she remarked

"...Hm," Collin hummed thoughtfully, then lowered his voice. "Do you think he's here to try and take the throne himself?" He asked, ears folding back.
