"Looks like you like somebody..." She teased, bumping you on the nose with her snout. "He's done stuff to me in the past, but I suppose he has reasons for it... I think it's good. I'm a dragon mage. I can do magic. You guys can fight!"

Iist bumped Focus with her elbow. "Hey, hey," she softly huffed. She looked back at the mage. "I don't know much in the way of fighting (since all my skills are level 1), and Uje fights for me. But if there's time, I can probably train and help you."

She consults the Skill Guide in her Guidebook and wonders how to level herself and Uje up for this Brother Boss Fight.

"Sure, sure." He waves a hand. "Get yourself familiar with this forest as of now. I'm going to check on the border, maybe even scry for my brother a bit. The creatures of this forest shouldn't hurt you now." He holds out a hand and mist swirls over it, to solidify into a gold necklace set with rubies the same color as his pentagram spell that was now fading on the forest floor. "This should keep you relatively safe," he hands it to you. "I hope my brother hasn't gotten wind of the fact that you're planning to help me. Your life will be in danger too if that happens. You could go train a bit while I do my own stuff for a while, and I won't bother you."

I dug through Bing again to bring you... drummroll.....

Iist looked down, holding the golden key necklace gingerly. "Woah...thank...you. I think I'll do that. Train, I mean. And also, in the meantime, we can look for the clues to the Creator's Portal while I train." She ran her fingers over the rubies and the dragon the top. putting on the necklace, then looked back at the mage. "I know your name is important to you, but what should I call you?" She smiled. "Even if I was in danger, I don't think you're in the wrong. Your brother is evil, not you."

"Well, I'll leave you be for now." He says, waving a hand. "As for a name..." he smiles mysteriously. "Focus knows." He turns, his robes flapping in the nonexistent wind (lol) and heads off into the forest, leaving you guys alone.

Iist stared blankly at the unnamed mage make his almost-anticlimatic exit, then over to Focus. "I'll...ask later." She scratched her head.

"Well, I guess the first item on our to-do list is to..."level-up", as it were." Iist read the guide book for skill levels. "How do I train in this forest, Focus?"

(AHA! I found a name suitable for the dude)

"Well, I suppose it's simple." Focus magically makes a level up manual appear before her as she flips through the pages. "Do you want to increase your defense first? Which skill?"

"Hmm...Maybe magic, since his brother's probably going to fight him with magic first." She sighed as she read through the book, then closed it. "Is there also a way for Uje to train at the same time? To try and make things efficient."

"Weeeellll..." Focus looked around. "Magic is complicated. You can't just learn it simply, and I can't teach it. Uje is stuck where he is, because that's how he is... I would still suggest defense or attack."

Iist looked sadly at Uje. "Aw...this makes things complicated, then." She scratched her head. "Then basic attack and defense is the best we can do for now. Probably start with attack first.

"Okay," Focus mutters a spell and a small sword materializes at your feet. "There's a sword. Pick it up."
