Diablo went to work chopping at the ice with the shovel he'd been handed.Shattering the ice made him remeber the mirror from his dreams and remeber the spot that'd shown up on his hand..he was clearly deep in though at he hit the ice with the shovel

(Time skip to when the ship is free?)

Kaladin slowed to a halt, looking a bit dismayed.

Calico looks at Kaladin, "I'm gonna go find Zedia. Kai will come back when she's ready and not before then."
At that Calico walks away to find Zedia feeling slightly bad that he made Kaladin feel worse.


After a few hours of hard and fast work The Crest was finally free. Selkie smiles as he climbs back on his ship, "So Locke can you guide us out of here please?"

Lock gave a frim nod, climbing onto the ship behind him. "Drayke, scout ahead. Make sure no icebergs go unnoticed, aye?"
The canine turned his attention back to Selkie as Drayke snorted and took to the air. "Tha' was faster than expected!" He remarked.

"With two dragons and two fine crews,'' Selkie asks, "I was expecting about this time.''

Back on board of the ship diablo felt great.He did have blisters on his hands but it felt great to actually help get the ship free of the ice.He'd wrapped up his hands just so nothing got infected or anything drastic,it covered up the weird mirror marking which he still felt a little weird about but you could tell he felt good.

Selkie smiles looking over at the crew, "So how do you like being a part of the crew Diablo?"

"it's a great distraction from everything" he remarked,"mostly." he added with a slight shrug
