Locke made his way down onto the ice, keeping an eye out for Drayke to touch down with his crewmates.

Kaladin frowned. "Maybe?" He gave, looking more uneasy. "...Would she do that? W-without saying anything??"

"Have you been ignoring or neglecting her," Calico asks, "Busy with a pacient or apprentice prehaphs?"


Selkie carefully drops down onto the ice before going over to Locke, "So how do we do this?"

Diablo caught selkie looking at him just for a second.He went and distracted himself by watching out for Drayke.

Kaladin glanced at the ground. "I-I had patients, of course, a-and then the Nocturnus have been lingering a-around the border lately, but..." His blue eyes widened a bit. "Did she really just leave because of that??"

Locke gestured around at the ice surrounding the ship. "We'll have ta clear that first, give her some breathin' room, then cut ah way out to tha open sea. Tha faster we work, tha better, so we don't give the ice time ta freeze over again. Ah'm thinkin' Seaweed can help from below iffin he's up to it."

Selkie nods once summoning Seaweed. He then goes to attacking the ice around his ship. He thought a bit about the problems with Diablo but decided against taking action unless he had a better reason.


Calico shrugs, "You know her better than I do. Perphaps there is another reason or you aren't searching in the right place?"

Kaladin nodded. "I-I'm going to search the forest then..." He mumbled before darting off.

Locke gave Selkie a firm nod as Drayke touched down onto the ice. After a quick briefing from Locke, his crew set to work on the ice as well.

Calico shakes his head,"Why not ask for help too or just for your clan to keep an eye out for her?"


Selkie pants quietly as he attacks the ice with a pole, "Too bad Drayke doesn't have fire breath right now."

Locke chuckled. "He has his own ice breaker," he remarked, working at the ice with a steel shovel. As if on cue, Drayke slammed his barbed tail into the ice with a snarl.

"I-I already brought it up to a few friends..." Kaladin replied.

"Impressive," Selkie mummbled as he attacks the ice again with his pole, "Hopefully we work fast enough."


Calico shrugs, "Or maybe Kai doesn't want to be found right now."

Locke shrugged. "Tha faster, tha better."
