Kaladin frowned as he paced around the village, clutching his spear in both hands. He'd just had another run in with the Nocturnus clan, and Kai's disappearance was starting to concern him more. If she'd just went up to the mountains, wouldn't she had come back by now? He shook his head to himself as he continued his search.

Locke leaned up against the mast, scratching at his ear. "Yer concerned," He noticed.

"Yes I am," Selkie answers quietly, "I understand a bit about why Diablo did it though."


Calico (yes he is still on the island) walks over to Kaladin, "Would you like me to try you help find your dog for you?"

Locke nodded once. "Ah s'pose tha's ah good thing."

Kaladin let out a sharp yelp and sprang back, having not noticed Calico until he spoke. "--D-don't sneak up on me like that!!" He complained.

Calico shakes his head, "I'm sorry I wasn't trying to. By any chance have you seen Zedia?"


Selkie shrugs, "I hope so."

Kaladin blinked, then nodded, gesturing over his shoulder. "Over th-that way, in the middle of town," He responded. "W-why do you ask?"

Locke frowned a bit. "What'd y'say we get started today, aye? Time we broke tha ship free."

"I wanted to talk to her," Calico explains, "I don't know if she's angry at me or something like that but I just... well I want a friend out here and she's my best chance at it. No I know better than to ask you because the second I do and something happens Captain Waverider and Douglas will be at the front of the line wanting my head on a silver platter."

Selkie nods once, "Just tell me what I need to do?"

Kaladin gave Calico a cautious nod. He wasn't wrong about that last part, that much was true. "R-right. Well, don't let me stop you then..." He quietly stepped around him, going back to searching for Kai.

Locke gestured over his shoulder. "Gather up anyone physically capable an' meet me on deck. Drayke's flyin' over some o' mine, an' Ah'll give everyone tha rundown, aye?"

"Aye," Selkie went to gather his crew that were capable of handling the task.



Calico glances towards the forest, "Do you think Kai would have gone to meet another wolf or maybe a pack of wolves and join them?"

Diablo was called down from the nest to help break the ship free.He still got weird looks from a few of the others as he still wasn't cold.Maybe breaking the ship free was a good job for him since he didn't get cold much anymore

Selkie glances over in Diablo's direction before looking back over the crew. He was worried yes but at the same time it wasn't like he could just throw Diablo off the ship or could he?
