Selkie was shivering violently at this point as were several other of the crew members. The polar bear glanced at Diablo again before turning back to his work.

Diablo frowned still thinking...he knew the others were freezing but he didn't see the polar bear react.He eventually shrugged off the thoughts of faking being cold,knowing it wouldn't work.He then went back to work

The polar bear worked harder trying to keep warm against the freezing tempatures. Selkie glances out at the sea shuttering slightly.

"Tch. Not clearly. I see figures on deck, but that's 'bout it..." Scope admitted as Drayke stopped short near the edge of the ice, gazing out at them.

(Locke'a ship is called The Rebound, just in case I never mentioned it. The one he used to command was The Lance.)

Locke glanced over at Selkie. "Get yer crew below. Warm up ah bit." He suggested. "There ain't much fer you ta do right now. Ah need ta handle a few things first. Oh, an' whatever's botherin' ye aboot Diablo? Clear that up peacably while yer at it, aye?"

Selkie looks at Locke with a slight glare and then a sympathetic look, "I took him into my trust and he betrayed it so we're in this mess. I'll try to get over it though."
He turns to his crew, "Get below deck and warm all of you!"

Nathanial glances out at Dryake, "Looks like we've been spotted. Ah well it was bound to happen sooner or later."

(0-0 yikes,how long was diablo missing according to the people on the ship again?)


Diablo overheard this and his ears drooped a bit more,he followed everyone else belowdecks knowing it'd look really strange if he didn't.
(yes diablo is being a mopey teenager )

(A few months)

Selkie glances at Diablo slightly hurt but more angered then anything else. Even though he was the leader of the crew he still was little more then a child in age. He was willing to be forgiving if he only understood why Diablo had left.

Drayke eyed them for a long moment before pushing off of the ice and taking to the air, gliding past the ship and out towards sea.

Scope blinked, then shrugged. "Guess he's busy too."

Locke thoughtfully studied Selkie for a long moment, then placed a hand on his shoulder. "Ah'm sure he had a good reason." He assured the otter.

Selkie's eyes softened a little, "I know it's just a warning would have been nice."


Nathanial sighs quietly, "Thank goodness that way we don't get in trouble."

Locke nodded once, giving Selkie a frim pat. "Ah need ta gather me crew. Ye can handle things 'til then, aye?"
