Locke frowned in concentration "Hm..." He glanaced back rout over the ice. "So, did ye work yerself into a corner betore tha strom hit?" He asked. "Drop anchor?"

Scope narrowed his eyes, raising a wing above his brow. "How bad are we talking?"

"No the ice surronded me and I had to drop anchor or the ship would have been shredded during the storm," Selkie explains, "Honestly it's hard to explain."


"How bad is the worst hurricane you've ever been through?"

"Erm, Tore up a whole village. Had to leave," Scope said with a grimace.

"...Ain't supposed ta drop anchor. But Ah suppose there wasn't much else y'knew to do." Locke shrugged. "No major damage?"

A sea lion barked at him from someplace down the beach. Night had fallen at this point, so aside from that and the rhythmic sound of the waves, all was quiet.

Selkie looks around starting to shiver, "Only damage was the crew being scared. It's like Blackbeard's attack all over again except this time with ice."


"That's how bad this one is gonna be though I'm gonna try to keep th ship away from the worst areas."

Scope winced. ".....Aye-aye..."

"M'sorry Laddie, but yer not alone. We need to get to work as soon as possible though, aye?"

Nathanial is true to his word as he works on avoiding the worst parts of the storm.


Selkie nods once, "Aye. What needs to be done?"

Diablo glanced down at his hand...noticing that this time it wasn't really going back to semi-solid...he hadn't done it this much since ..ages ago. "one more time" he muttered to himself as he teleported back onto the deck of selkie's ship,just a bit too high though and he landed in a bit of the rigging,which in the storm meant he got soaked fast

"We need ta do some weather predictions, see if we need to reinforce the hull, check where the ice is thin enough to break, which way the ice is flowing, teach yer dragon to swim out here.... Aye. Pleanty to do." He paused, then glanced over across the deck. "Looks like Diablo's in ah state...."

Selkie narrows his eyes, "Diablo where have you been? It was your turn for watch on the storm when it happened. Locke sorry let's get to work and I'll deal with him later."
Yes Selkie was angry at Diablo for more then one reason but he was also angry at himself for allowing himself to be tricked when he showed a bit of good will towards someone who had about killed him.
