Amory nodded slowly. "...I'm sorry to hear that." He mumbled, glancing to the side. He turned his gaze over his shoulder upon hearing a soft rustle behind him as Bheka shuffled out of the bushes.

"Well, there you are. Don't worry, I have it under control." Amory told the smaller creature, who responded with a soft purr of sorts, followed by a few vague gestures. The Guardian echidna then frowned, looking a bit puzzled.

"Bheka... I don't--" He was cut off by a few more gestures, after which he let out a resigned sigh. "...Alright. If you think so."

Diablo didn't notice at first but then he recognized Bheka."I'm guessing they're the one who ratted out that i was here to you,right?" diablo askedwas hear

"I knew. Bheka here just found you before I did this time." Amory responded simply, stooping down to pick the smaller creature up.

"Huh..that's a pretty intresting name for a pretty interesting little fella.." diablo seemed to think for a second."Maybe i should ask if Kaladin knows them when i get back" he mumbled

Amory shook his head. "I recognize the name. He wouldn't know either of us-- At least, not in the sense I think you mean."

"oh..." diablo remarked a tad bit confused as it was a small island."I should be getting back" he remarked

Seaweed not so gently bump Locke's ship again, Emergency! Selkie's ship is stuck in the ice!

Upon feeling the shove, Locke dashed up onto deck and peered over the side rails into the water. "Did Ah hear ye right? The ship's beset*?! What in storm's gale is he doin' that far north?" He hollered, not bothering to use the mental link. He would've sounded angry if he weren't obviously shocked and concerned.

Appearently Locke realized this too, for he held up an hand in a 'Wait' gesture so he could compose himself.

"Actually, don't answer that. Ah'll ask 'im myself later. First, the important questions. Is tha hull nipped**, an' can the ship move at all, even jis ah wee bit?"

(*Stuck in ice.)

Amory gave a firm nod, eyes narrowed a bit. "Yes, you should."

When I say stuck I mean stuck and it wasn't my hairbrained idea Kaladin suggested looking in areas that have landlocked seas, Seaweed growls oviously displeased as well, I don't know if the hull is nipped or not I can't get that clse to the ship. When I tried I nearly got torn apart.
At that Seaweed shows Locke the deep scratches in his scales caused by the ice.
You and I both know my scales are strong enough to withstand being hit with a cannonball and have it bounce off the same with swords but that ice is something else. If I didn't know better I'd say it's magic or something or someone has enchanted it.


Later that night Kai gently nudges Kaladin, So what plans do you have for tomorrow? If possible I'm going and visiting Valco.

"No plans. You can go." Kaladin replied in a half-awake mumble.

Locke put a hand up to his chin in a mixture of deep thought and concern.

"...Alright. Selkie's got 'imself in a rough situation, but Ah've navigated icy waters 'afore. So Ah'l tell ye what. Me an' Drayke will go ahead to help how we can. My crew will follow, but it'll take 'em a while to get up there. My ship ain't suited to be an icebreaker, but if worst comes to worst, we'll need it close to get Selkie's crew to safety.

"In the meantime, Ah'm going ta need you to gather wood and rope. Drakye can transport it to Selkie's ship the first time, but then we're going to teach you how ta swim through the ice. It's difficult, an' requires ah fair amount o' patience and focus, but Ah know you'll get tha hang of it. Once you do, it may serve ye well in the future. Are you alright with that?"
