Kal scratched behind Kai's ear. "Just up ahead."

Kai smiles in her dog way, Let's see what we can find then.

Kaladin kept low in the foliage as he paced a decent distance away from the water's edge, movements concealed by the dense undergrowth.

Kai kept low as well even though she was trying not to put any wieght on her back left leg. She sniffs the air to see what creatures there were at the watering hole.

"Where is it?" he mumbled to himself digging around in the wild grass near a tree base...it had rock ben here somewhere unless someone had picked it up...after everyone had left

(Oh, I should probably tell you. Ever since the inccident with Killer and Mowhawk, Amory's depth perception never fully recovered. He prefers to fight up close, though will still fight with projectiles if it' nessecary or more convienant. He just tends to miss.)

Suddenly, a loud rush of air sounded dangerously close by Diablo's ear, followed immediatly by a snap of wood as something struck the tree. Not arrow or spear shaft was to be found, though a sizeable scorch mark now adorned the bark.

Kaladin nodded and peered discreetly over the foliage. Looking out, he noticed a couple of turtles sunning themselves on the bank, a large serpent gliding effortlessly across the clear water, and a egret stalking the reeds for fish. Above, a cluster of parrots chattered amoungst themselves. Nothing too interesting yet, it seemed.

Kai watches the turtles with intrest, What are those creatures?

Kaladin blinked. "Those? Those are turtles." He replied, glancing down at Kai. "This is your first time seeing one?"

(Got it...Also Kai discovering turtles i can picture and it gives me fuzzy feelings)


Diablo's head shot up and he glanced first at the trees then behind him."who's there?" he asked his hands slightly wispy

Kai nods once, I lived in the deep freeze remember no reptile could live there? Do you think they would care if I went to talk to one of them?
