"alright, since we don't have any volunteers, i'll pick at random" she says, glancing around "you two!" she says, pointing at Chiko and Tenebris. "come here so we can load you up into the tank" she orders, approaching the pool with a strange contraption that is looks like an odd strappy jacket connected to a pulley system.

She stayed in the pool

Tenebris gives Angela a scornful sideways glance, but doesn't struggle as the mechanism picks him up.

tenebris is carefully pulled out of the pool and placed in the tank, where he is released from the jacket. when they turn to put Chiko in the jacket, however, he refuses. "i'll do it" i blurt, before i can think any better of it. i need to be there before Gabriel and Hana to make sure it's safe.

"jack don't!" Gabriel hisses, hugging Hana protectively. "it will be fine" i tell him, worry twisting in my gut as i'm strapped into the jacket thing. theres a lurch as i'm slowly raised out of the water, before being placed in the tank on wheels.

Gabriel watches me silently as we are wheeled away, and through the doors which shut behind us. we are silently wheeled down a long hallway, through a pool containing mer with various injuries of all kinds, and out of the facility. from there we are wheeled through a courtyard and into a building opposite the facility.

the inside of the building has four large enclosure sort of areas, one in each corner with a massive pane of glass stretching from floor to ceiling between the enclosures and the rest of the room. we are wheeled through a small door near one of the enclosures that brings us through a small tunnel and into the enclosure itself via another door, this one hidden behind some trees.

the floor of the enclosure is made of sand, with one big island in the corner and the rest of the area being underwater with plenty of rocks and small caves to explore. the island has many palm trees and lots of foliage on it, making it a nice, natural looking space.

one by one, each mer is brought into the enclosure with us, accept for Hana and Gabriel.

When i get into the tank wth the other's i ask if everyone's okay as i swim over to Tenberis chcking if he's okay and i ask jack if he has any injuries ,,,,,,,,,

Alexander hissed as the straight jacket was put over him still tying to protest and fight his way to safety "Let me go! Now!" He snapped loudly almost yelling at the top hos his voice and still continued to fight and protest untill he was toppled inside the tank with a large splash "ow watch it land breather" he snapped and swam up to the glass plan closest to Angela and hissed at her bearing his teeth and watched as the rest of the mer folk was pit into their cages

Georgia whimpred and closed her eyes as it was her turn next and she was put into the strange jacket and lifted into the air the cold air of the facility pricked her skin like frozen winter air and she was pushed into the same tank as Dominick and she opened her eyes and swam up into his arms like a frightened pup "I'm scared" she said and looked at Angela and than at the rest including Gabriel

She watched silently

Malis sighed and swam a bit around and sat on the sand. "I'm fine Chiko," Malis said. Nana was looking around with a sad look on her face.

as everyone gets settled in around me - or, more accurately, doesn't get settled in around me- i keep my eyes glued on the doors, waiting for Gabriel and Hana. are they ok? did something go wrong? where are they!? my tail swishes back and forth in the sand anxiously, and i can't help but clench my fists until my knuckles turn white.

finally, the doors open and Gabriel and Hana are wheeled into the enclosure with us - along with a blue tailed pup with dark, curly hair. Gabriel, Hana, and the strange pup are put in with the rest of us, and the "vacant" sign taped to the glass is pulled down as Angela walks away, leaving us to stew in our enclosure.
