Kori grins boyishly. "Trust me, you'll like it down there. It's awesome! I lived there when I was a little kid- come to think of it, I was actually pretty important." He shrugs. "Come with me!" Holding Amethyst's hand, he wades into the water. As soon as it reaches his waist, his legs transform into a tail like that of a mermaid. He looks a little like this, but with wings and his usual horns.

"Is it something I said?" Kori says innocently, blinking at Amethyst. His voice is perfectly clear, even though he's underwater. "Oh wait, let me-" He takes hold of her hand, and she also gains the ability to breathe/talk et cetera undewater. (She looks a little like the one on the right in the below image)

Mali looks at Kori and whispers in his ear "No, she just thinks you look cute" Mali laughs slightly. Amethyst, being distracted by what she looks like as a mermaid, has her eyes sparkling "I'M SO SHINYY"

Kori, on the other hand, just be z o o m i n . (He actually was born and grew up as a completely aquatic being, and because of this he's very poor at running/land sports) He notices Amethyst is lagging behind. "Ack! Whoops, sometimes I forget not everyone can swim like me." He laughs, turning around to meet up with her. "I can help ya if you like!"

He spends the next couple of minutes teaching her how to properly swim with a tail, plus a couple tricks like backflips (that's a Kori specialty) and high-speed agility. He seems very comfortable underwater, almost childlike.
