I tapped my jaw "maybe they were trying to get attention... More then they already have...?" I asked and hummed "is the 11 year old connected to any of the teens that were murdered...?" I asked biting my lip.

Lish was tappign on his phone. "Same here, hjsut figured y'all shouls know ive kileld before. No wonderi got pinned....Anyways, i live with an officer. I might be able to get a bit of info out, im kind of good at accidently overhearing stuff...."

"well now we know stay out the woods at least but this is the start to a new beginning which means were gonna have to spend more time with each other and ik it will be hard" she sighs

"It'll take too long for me to say what the others said about not meaning to be immature. I'm shutting up now." Riley says, only here to gain information about what people had on the killer and stay away from trouble for a bit. He leans back against the wall and keeps quiet. Stay out of the woods, that's sad. He liked the woods and camping and climbing trees and all that jazz. The killer killed an 11 year old? Riley told himself he'd kill the killer when it came time and they figured this out. The rest of what everyone said? A lot of it passed over his head. Names and faces of the group he was with he memorized. He realized with this he hadn't said his name, but he didnt bother saying anything since the time had passed. Also, just because names held power and he wasn't going to give it to them if they didn't already know it. Places and ages and quantity of the killings was mentally jotted down.

"If your gonna be a d*ck leave, your not a help anyways" she was just being honest and thats a horrible trait she has, she flipped threw some pages of a news paper

"Mhm." Riley says, not really listening. Honesty is always the best policy anyways, right, so not a bad trait. His mind was else where, trying to figure out puzzles he couldn't solve. Yet.

"but no one can go home today but if you do travel with a group, today is the 10th day so he kills again either you stay with me for the night, or you leave with other friends and have them stay over either way its not safe" she got up and grabbed some extra blankets from the closet and setting them on her bed as she munched on a cookie "my parents have already talked to your parents so dont worry bout it"

"If the killer doesn't kill me, my guardians will." Riley says with a humorless laugh, pulling his knees up to his chest and wrapping his arms around them, squashing his backpack but who cares about the backpack. He felt a bit sad since it was more than possible that an innocent person out there was going to be killed tonight. "I don't believe they'll like it if they hear that I spent a night at someone's house, and I don't have any friends. Most of my street are old people who are good story tellers and wonderful people so I don't think anyone is heading in the direction of my home. I'm going to make like a tree and leaf." He says, getting to his feet. He was getting in so much trouble today. How was it possible?!

Annalise threw him a blanket "you can sleep on the floor or the couch"

"I'll take the floor I guess?" Riley says, picking the first option as he caught the blanket before it could hit him in the face. However his backpack decided that it had to follow gravity and it didn't like Riley for dropping it, so it lands on his toes. Riley hisses quietly in pain and picks the backpack back up, securing it on his shoulders.
